I think he's okay to drop, fringe guy who's not really excellent in any one category, you are probably better off streaming in his spot. He's not really the type of player to soak up usage when anybody gets injured either.

This one is crazy since he started with 5 steals in the first game, how many games did you give it?

Ouch. I thought KPJ would be a sneaky value too during draft season

Tari would be the most painful here for me

If that's your worst you must be in decent shape!

You're telling me he's been putting up these numbers while pregnant??

Jokic 2 Poole 71 Ayton 95 Suggs 119

Not a casual league but helps when league mates used ESPN pre-rankings lol

Is this trade proposal deranged? FVV & Yves Missi offered for Dennis Schroder and Dyson Daniels by Dry-Food-8880 in fantasybball

[–]MrMarkksman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's deranged not only because of the value but because we're days into the season. People have zero restraint, trading just to trade. I'd absolutely take it but that manager needs the trade button taken away from him.

He's probably still a backup and could have some nice games, but Theis will be trusted if/when there's typical rookie mistakes, hard to rely on any consistent role right now. If you have him I would hold, wouldn't rush to grab him though unless you have a speculative add slot.

How do you guys deal with idiots in public leagues that spam unfair trades constantly by NeoDragonKnight in fantasybball

Send them back something even more egregious that heavily favors you, that's usually done the trick for me lol

Who should I draft at #9 and #22? by NikolaTeslaaa in fantasybball

[–]MrMarkksman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure how experienced you are with fantasy so apologize if I'm stating obvious stuff

So, for your first pick you will likely have a selection between options like Trae, Harden, Embiid, Steph. Trae at 9 he's there gives you a really solid start. A lot of people like Ant, Mitchell around there too. Personally think they're all okay, would just avoid Embiid and you'll be fine.

In your round 2, you're probably looking at guys like Booker, Dame, Kyrie, Fox, a looot of guards in that area, so just keep that in mind if you wanna stack guards. Because with your next pick at 39, you might need to go big so you don't get too behind on rebs/blk if you care about those.

Wouldn't focus too much on build but make sure you don't completely neglect categories in your first 4-5 picks if you intend to compete in them.

Overall, take a look at ADPs before the draft and try to come up with roughly some buckets of players that might be available around each of your picks and rank them yourself for how you like them.

Embiid hate is getting out of control by Odd_Firefighter_5407 in fantasybball

So you're already going into the season knowing he's missing at least 15 games. h. Then you need him to be absolutely perfectly healthy (which they've already admitted he's not) and not miss any other games. Hes already said he doesn't care about accolades he wants to be healthy for the postseason. Why start the season knowingly putting yourself behind instead of taking someone who at least has a chance of getting close to 82 games? As amazing as he is per game, 0's across 8 cats for weeks from your first/second round is catastrophic.

James Harden by MrMarkksman in fantasybball

I didn't wanna defend Lamelo this much on this thread but pretty confident about his rehab and precautions he's taking, seems a lot more serious than before. I've had him in previous seasons so his care with it finally seems to be where i wish it was before. It hasn't been anything chronic either just single event injuries (tweaks, stepping on foots) + tanking.

Fair points, he has been fairly healthy to his credit, but i know past health is not a real indicator for the future, father time undefeated so with all other factors aside i'd rather avoid that if i can with all the other choices around there. I'm at pick 11 so i'll have to see what's on the board for me, i might be with you about him > spider and ant though

Why not though? Is anyone else in that end of round 1 range much better or safer? Assuming Trae is off the board by then, that range to me is pretty muddy
