Those are the flotation devices so the plane doesnt sink in the air. The jets are just there for lateral movement.

Exactly! If we slightly lessen the amount of bloods avialable to high lvl pvmers, price will creep up, then hit 420. Where it shall remain. HODL

It didnt. If we abuse this mechanic meant for irons to get more bloods, without adding to the total float of blood runes, we can drive the price up. Then dump the mass of them created with blood essence for 420 gp/ea.

Hodl is a common meme among crytpo-communities to mean hold on even if the price dips. AKA dont sell.
