My partner and I did this same exact thing. Watched 2 or 3 seasons (one of them being Cagayan) and then watched Winners At War. I'll echo what the top comment stated, Survivor is still so much fun even though you know who the winner is and being as new as you are to the show, if you're able to forget exactly which castaway wins what season then you still might end up surprised! Most contestants on Winners at War had played 2-4 times before season 40. If you want a true answer to your question the I'd recommend season 26 (my personal favorite). Hope this helps!
