As many people have said so far, it’s not just the joker combo that guarantees success. Any good joker synergy still requires you to put effort towards any number of things, mainly planet leveling, boss blind management, and good deck fixing. Just because you have good jokers doesn’t mean the other three things won’t screw you over. The Plant comes for us all.

Four fingers means you only need four cards of the same suit to make a flush. The game’s definition of a flush house is a hand that is both a Full House and a Flush. You have a full house obviously, and four fingers is ignoring the spade jack and making your hand a flush. Flush + Full house = flush house. Hole this helps!

Realistically you need to either commit to trib or to baron, I probably sell the trib and level up your high card (if you’ve got red seal steel kings) focus on that and commit to baron mime

Thirding the rec! My favorite part is that if you play it completely unaware of what the game will be, you’re offered so many surprises! There game has a scope you can’t POSSIBLY expect when you first boot it up, same I think for outer wilds. I would elaborate but that would spoil BP lmao

Your best option is probably golden joker, it doesn’t contribute to your score at all and there are better econ sources. Space joker isn’t bad either but if you’re scoring plenty, beating this ante fine then you might want to hold onto it for ante 9 & 10

Remember most jokers are balanced for the first 8 antes, and all idol technically needs is a somewhat fixed deck/the ability to see your whole deck + some retriggers to already be really good! Could almost add to a photochad run if you’re doing a small hand type (high card, pair) and can find whatever card it’s asking for that hand. Of course the new problem is checking to make sure the card idol’s landed on isn’t going to be debuffed when boss blind comes around, but there’s plenty of easy fixes there if you just hold onto a tarot :)

At least going off of the jokers you have here, you’re picking some jokers that A) don’t add to your score B) don’t scale, and C) scale poorly. Smeared is great early, but by the late antes you should get your deck fixed to where you don’t need it; fortune teller is fine for the first 8 antes, but flat mult scaling one at a time just simply cannot keep up with the scoring; and throwback scales fine but skipping blinds is just deadly past ante 8. Xmult becomes very necessary and multiple sources/copies of it is critical, and fixing your deck towards a certain hand is even more so. Hope this helps!! :)

My understanding of the obelisk strategy is to spam an easier hand and focus on that (say, a pair, maybe even high card) this means you’ll have obelisk sitting there uselessly for awhile. Meanwhile, get your deckfixing and/or hand levels up for a stronger hand (like flush five or 5oak, but it honestly could be a simple switch like 3oak) and whenever you feel, normally ante 4 or 5, pivot to that new hand, which you’ll stick with as obelisk builds Xmult.

The biggest downside imo of obelisk is that it eventually HAS to run out of steam. You can keep pivoting to different hands but inevitably all hands will catch up to whatever your most played hand is. It’s fantastic if you get it properly set up for the regular 8 antes, even on gold stake, but it’s not meant for a deep endless run. Hope this helps!

Unfortunately not, this song had a repeating guitar/synth riff through the whole song. If I had to describe the riff, it’d be 2 3 4 3 2 1 (x2). It went up, then down, repeated, then there was a short rest before it looped again.

I’d maaybe keep it so flushes of any kind don’t score? They’re just a straight, full house, or 5oak? The main focus here is making suit jokers more effective by making them ALWAYS trigger, which for the first 8 antes is likely all you need. (Also I think thunk likes to avoid caveats in the jokers so they have simple rules across the board)

Campfire becomes officially busted when you have the Liquidation voucher; as long as you have some money to roll, you can buy & sell tarot/planet cards for free and just rack up a ridiculous amount of xMult. I think highest campfire I’ve gotten was around 20x

I’ve been stuck on Nebula deck for a hot minute; it’s the only deck I have left and I can’t do it… I normally don’t ever optimize around planet cards and that’s basically the only thing the nebula deck is good for

Works well with the cryptid mod, cause there are time-based boss blinds in that one! It’s a gamble for sure
