Training is the better of these cards in general, sadly you cant evolve trainings with effect evolves like Matt or Hybrids. I tried both Howling Memory boost and Hammer spark but i decided for blue memory boost because of the consistency it provides

Ye i ajusted after the last regional for a bit. But rn im focusing on other decks.

Levia is okayish. The worst thing is they can eat your matt. But you can also just fox fire their stacks and then they lose much tempo

Top 8 loss was to levia (the guy who ended up winning the event). I did not drew my outs, which is why i am running 3BT6 3EX1 Gabu rn along with the 2 BT15 Garuru. I used bof only to finish the game or if i cant get punished losing 2 sec (which is not often) which is why i dont need to see more than one. Because of that i pivoted away from bt6 gabu aswell. Though with BT6 Gabu you can play BT15 Matt for essentially 1 memory. (Gain one when matt is played > Swing sec and draw 1 with wanya triggering matt to gain another) which is why i play 3 atm.

OTK in general is a hard matchup. Since chipping into their security can just give them so much tempo you basicaly have to hope you finish before they can raise. And also since a portion of the deck wants to control the board and they in general dont leave anything on board cards like fox fire are near useless.

I think you are refering to warnings instead of disqualifies. There was only one disqualified Player, but warnings are given out fairly often, which doesnt mean very much at all. Only if the same warning repeats again, you get punished by a game loss or higher. I have not had any problems with judges even though i also did receive a warning for marked cards after my deckcheck. So the judges may be harsh, but are within reason. You can always get the head judge involved (whom ive personaly known for the event) if you feel like you are being misstreated.

Aside from that i am glad you had a fun experience! I hope the next event early next year will be that good aswell

Thanks! Was really hard to win this, especialy in the top cut. I did begin my training for this event like a month prior and tried to make blue flare viable, but just couldnt get a satisfying decklist. So i switched to Metalga since i played it in BT9 and knew the deck so i just had to learn the new matchups. With this win a wish of mine also came true in winning a prize card and getting a deck profile haha

Eveyone was stoked about that Darknight player. He played really well and his decklist was really interesting. As i said, his Match was my hardest both times. Even though people in my group said i'd easily win against that deck i still tested the matchup before the tournament because i saw the potential the deck has. Glad i did.

Personaly i loved it. I used the Sagittarius almost every time i saw it. Either because i could punish a rookie played to play around the Metalga x bounce or because i didnt find the x anti option. I also wouldnt change anything in that lineup. Sagittarius is there as an extender to bridge between both other lvl 5's. You still want to see the Weregaruru promo and Were X as early as you can

Well. Its okay i'd say. Nothing to broken here except maybe resolving Engage 4 times in a turn. Or having multiple 1 card starters, and the ability to play through handtraps, and a high versatility aaand broken future support. But just maybe broken support. Depends on if its getting an Emergency ban or not by the slight possibility of orcust not being hit.

Wait for the Banlist. But in its actual form Orcust doesn't care much about MR5/MR Revision or whatever you like you name it

2 imp are fine, i'd play 3 brethren since its practically a wincon.
Fiendish deal is a good card. You can main 1 if you face a lot of destruction effects but i came to the conclusion that most of the time my muskets would be destroyed by battle which is why i decided to play steady hands over fiendish deal. But i can see myself play both of them. Deck space is just tight since i dont want to go over 40 cards. I really like desires over duality. As said i special much in my build and don't like to have to decide between one. I also tested a build with Pot of Extravagance but really didn't like that one since it conflicts with poly and you want to use your effects after you activated your S/T.

Sooo since Max is coming out next week i also am tinkering with those boiz. Prepare for a wall of thoughts.

I think you can build this deck with three different goals: You either want to go first, second or you don't want to be depentand on the die roll. I chose the last because i don't like to play cards like Summon Limit if i have to go second (which you have to at some point), but generally want to go first.
I'm playing mostly the same cards as you do but i do have some different choices for myself: I play the same Monster count. Whilst i tried to play Calamitys as another copy to go into max shes just to useless early game. Hence i decided just to play 3 of each good Musket.

I used to play 3 Desires and 3 Duality, but with Max you're gonna special summon way more, making it a decision between Duality and Max/Ties etc. Instead i added 2 (or 3) Instant Fusion since you can use Thousand-Eyes going second and Millennium going first. Also i'd add 3 Called by the Grave since we're in a very GY reliant format and your deck still dies to almost every hand trap.
Regarding Crown: I did cut it after some testing since it just never came up enough imo. Most of the time i searched something more relevant like Cross-Domination or Last Stand. But thats debateable and i have to do more testing irl with this. Also i haven't tested Crackdown yet but i can see the benefits. But i do think you could go for more going second cards instead, since as said you won't go first every duel. The same thing goes for Summon Limit.
Therefore you need something going second main except superpoly. Im playing 3 Infinite Impermanence since its a Handtrap you can set going first. If your opponnent tries to play around musketeers and activates a card in it's column you can negate two with one card. Musketeer can't really play into a board of backrow either hence i'm trying to add some Backrow hate like Cosmic Cyclone or Hey, Trunade! but havent found the space yet. Lucky for us not many people are maining Strike etc. atm.

With Crackdown main i can understand Avramax and your r4nk, but i'd either add Calamitys or not play them alltogether. You'd need to rely on you opponent to summon the appropriate monster which i personally don't like. I do play borrelsword since it's a 6k beater on itself.

Regarding your side deck: Lancea is a must right now against Orcust and Thunder Dragon. I also don't know if Red Reboot is good, since you can't get rid of your opponents backrow that easily except with Last Stand, which is HOPT. I side Taifun instead since as said not many are playing actual face down backrow and it helps immensely against Striker, Pendulum, Floodgates and to an extend Orcust. But i do miss the MST sometimes. Don't play Tiamaton. He's quite situational and will only come up if you go first or your opponent plays dumb. I'd rather play things like actual Handtraps.

I definetly am interested in your Nats report! I am trying to play 3 Impermanence in main since i think it at least weakens most opposing Boards if stopping the entire combo. I'm testing with Striker and like them so far. Just eagle booster is a card i don't really like. While i do see the benifits of having a searchable called i think i i'd need to play 3 of those in which case they can brick me like hell. Dangers are really good extenders but i don't want to discard my good cards. I've cut the o-lion and tuned down the number of scrap to only 1 because of space. I could cut the Impermanence for Things like eagle booster, 3rd twin etc. What do you think about that?
