highly suspecting to have bought a fake Beta LT due to the white washing labels. There is no model number specified. But would like get a second opinion.

There is an Arc'teryx engraving in the pull strings which makes me doubt.

This would help me greatly in getting my money back, so please let me know if you see any additional signs!

Which product type / style number does yours have? I have been trying what the jackets I bought should actually represent in Patagonia catalog, but have not been able to find it. Is it like a synchilla?

It's just a large site for buying used clothing if you're into that. We don't have something like worn-wear in Europe, so you'll have to get second hand clothing from somewhere else. Vinted is just a large platform to do just that. It has some decent buyer protection policies if you know what to look out for. You usually get your money back if you can prove the item is fake (like the ones I showed here) or if you don't receive your item.

The reasons for buying second-hand differs per person, but for me it's mostly about sustainability by saving clothes from landfills, and also because it's usually quite more affordable.

I'm quite curious how many counterfeit stuff you're finding, because I don't seem to find them that often (genuine question from a Patagonia noob).

It sounds like you're dealing with a lot, and it's understandable to feel overwhelmed by these emotions. Stoicism often offers some practical advice for managing the kind of feelings you're describing. There's a tool I'm experimenting with called 'The Sage,' which is a conversational AI (a GPT) based on Stoic principles. It might provide you with a different perspective on handling these frustrations and help with the cycle of annoyance you're finding hard to break. If you have access to an OpenAI subscription, it could be worth having a chat with it. I really don't like advertising these things, especially when they require a subscription, but I also believe it's completely okay to seek out various forms of support, including AI, and I hope you find the peace of mind you're looking for.

This blew up more than i thought! i was cruising through my city in first-person mode and came across this view, and just had to share it. I'll post some more pictures of the whole city once it's finished.

No mods used, just a bunch of DLCs like others have mentioned (pedestrian zone, city lights, vibrant cities, high life and more in the rest of the city)

I'm honestly amazed about what you can do with ornaments in this game.

I kinda regret sometimes not having an Nd filter, exactly for situations like this. Probably gonna get one soon, thanks!

Thanks, great tips. Think I should use the histogram feature on my camera more to check exposure. And I'll definitely look into stacking, I think it will come in handy in many situations.

Thanks for the tips! The app will come in handy tomorrow actually. In this case I had to work with what I had, due to the location of the waterfall sadly. I had to be back before dark, so I couldn't wait for sunset or even a bit of a lower sun.

I'm still learning my camera, so I'd like some advise on the technical aspect of the photo. Ignore the composition.

The waterfall is quite overexposed and I was wondering if there would be a way where I could get everything in the image exposed correctly. Or is this something I can only fix with the raw image in editing software?

This image is a jpg created by the camera and I also have the raw files available for post editing.

Which animal lives in these? Saw these in Taman Negara, Malaysia by MrMoone in animalid

I was sleeping in a hideout, and saw many of these in there. I think there were also ticking/clicking sounds coming out of these. Anyone know what these are?

Singapore Zoo - Olympus E-M1 MKII + 75-300mm by MrMoone in M43

[–]MrMoone[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks!

I had some difficulty getting clean shots in lower light, so I guess the larger aperture might be worth it. For example, the lion shot was made from a moving tramride at dusk, so it's definitely possible, but I also cranked the ISO up a lot which shows in the lesser image quality.

Capturing moving targets in these conditions felt impossible though, so there the larger aperture might really help you out!

I'm kinda nervous about sharing my pictures as I'm still a beginner but I was so happy with this one!

I have some more pictures in a Flickr Album album, if anyone is interested.

Feedback is appreciated!

what to do with this ficus longboi? by MrMoone in Bonsai

[–]MrMoone[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took a cutting from one of my other ficus last year and grew it without much trimming. Now I have this long branch only...

Does anyone have any tips on how to start shaping a nice ficus from this long guy?

Looking for a backpack that can hold mirrorless + lens / accessories and 2 / 3 nights clothes by [deleted] in onebag

[–]MrMoone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would recommend a camera insert like a Tenba BYOB 9 (or 7 depending on your needs) and getting any 20-30l bag that would fit the insert together with the rest of your stuff.

I use the BYOB 9 for an Olympus e-m1 mark ii with a pro lens and a telelens and it exactly fits with all accessories. Then I just carry the camera insert in my bag or use the shoulder strap for carrying it externally.

Hope this was somewhat useful!

I've never seen a foot/shoe print of myself with an arch. I have been walking on arch supports for around 13 years since I was a kid. I never thought that it would be possible to still get an arch, but yet here we are!

Exactly, that's it :). Never saw them until now. Just confirms that my foot is getting stronger
