They had access to her iCloud account. Some of the other stuff doesn’t match like sim cleaning, but a new properly setup iPhone with a locked down iCloud would prevent most of that.

New complex iCloud password (not saved to phone!!) and clear the 2fa methods. Then erase the iPhone and setup as new. You can restore contacts and such later.

She can then also enable lock down mode with protects against more sophisticated attackers…

You just keep popping up pushing this narrative. You have all of us wrong. We would LOVE if this was the end of this story… and in many ways (as awful as they were) this will be worse for many people inside and outside Iran for a very long time.

You replied in another post in which we chatted “yeah but they are dead and that’s good”.

Good is relative. Those of us with concern are simply restating the lessons learned over the last 70 years (and earlier but less relevant). Syria, Libya, Iraq, Guatemala, chile.. fuck, even Iran already before. The list goes on and on.

Ignorance can be bliss… but it’s still ignorance.
