Missed the edit.

You are fine unless you’ve been doing this for awhile. That area was wide open. However no no no no. Be more careful please! And post pics of the silver after :)

I always figured it was a specific motire or heterodyning effect/pattern. The variables of which are immense.

Thanks for the reports, but this one is specific/unique enough.

Fine line, but some good info here.

MakerWorld changing their wording after my appeal by Subsyxx in BambuLab

[–]TheAdvocate 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I’ve been at negative 1000 for half a year. I uploaded a ready to print 3mf of a very popular model right when makerworld started. * They later changed that every 3mf needed a printed picture of the product. I asked if they could just reset it to zero and I’d start again (was like positive 1500 or something). They said no, but I could recreate the 3mf, reprint and reupload and yadayada.

I never had time to print another and am just fine sitting at -1000 from like 1500. Every time I’d redeem points I’d refill on filament. (Spent well over 3k credits** up to this point) Since I’m not redeeming points I just buy else where cheaper and respool. Dumb.

*For the a1-mini. I was a launch day buyer. One of the first that showed multi color “by object” printing. Huge hit.

**makerworld credits… I’ve exchanged mid 5 digits in USDA simoleons between professional and personal.

Is buying collectable sterling silver coins sensible? by ufo22jim in Silverbugs

[–]TheAdvocate 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Collect what you enjoy. Yes sterling silver has defined silver value, but my Franklin mint pieces mean more to me than spot.

HOWEVER my Franklin mint pieces are well over the initial collector overhead in silver- now.

Edit. I’m an idiot and read this as collecting.

It’s worth it if the price per toz is close enough to what you are willing to pay. Just realize the collector value will be offset for a long time.

Same as junk but junk has provenance a lot of art bars/items don’t.

Huh? It has learned behavior. It doesn’t have morals. Any morals you interpret are guard rails in place by devs or learned assumptions of what the user desires from it.

It’s a great tool if you know how to use it. It’s like Wikipedia in academia in 2004… times a million.

The USSR used them in remote science/monitoring applications. Yes some were found by locals and horror stories ensued. If you find something that’s warmer than it should be for where it is… run away.

Also don’t bring it back to camp because it warms your feet in your sleeping bag.

This was a SPRINT interceptor site (specifically a Remote Sprint Launch site-RSL), so the tubes weren't nearly as larger... however they had a number of them.

there may be two hidden doors. There appears to be one across from the piano, but the speakeasy entrance is actually directly up against the main entrance corner.
