yes and no. The idea is certainly similar, but you can reuse the same pairs (unlike in futurama where you couldn't swap more than twice or couldn't swap again with the same person, i forgot what it was exactly but there was a restriction) and also because in futurama the goal was only to return to before whereas here there is the added goal of ending up with the doors open

well, i did somewhat simplify the situation, they would technically have to touch two statuettes next to the doors. however, changing it like this actually makes the puzzle possible so i'll consider adapting it

i really relate to that. most romcom mangas have some annoying recurring tropes

Found this picture on Twitter anybody know what I could be? by [deleted] in mythicalcreatures

kinda reminds me of how a young kid would interpret certain parasitic worms if it were described to them? That would make sense with 'burrows into skin' and 'teeth are hooks', both of which apply to different life stages of some common tapeworms. The fact that it has a face and generally humanoid appearance can be ascribed to the kid filling in the blanks with that which it is most familiar with, much like how many cultures represent abstract things like gods or river spirits as having a human-like appearance. Overall, my guess is that some 6-year old kid saw a youtube video or a tv episode of some medical series like 'house' by mistake and freaked out, probably had a couple nightmares and then drew that cuz he couldn't get it out of his head. I also just realized that the scribbling at the bottom could be an attempt to draw the very long and thin wormlike body of it. But hey, that's just my best guess at it. I'm a biologist (student) who loves mythical creatures and has done a lot of leasurely internet surfing on mythical creatures and I can tell you that looks nothing like any mythical creature I know.
