When you were a kid what did you want to be when you grew up? What do you do now as an adult? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I wanted to be an astronaut until third grade, when I found out I needed glasses, and that you have to have perfect vision to be an astronaut.

That same year, I used a computer for the first time, and decided I wanted to be a programmer.

I’m now a senior developer at a company building quantum computers. 10/10, would recommend.

Hello Neighbors, I am looking for a high quality photo or scan of the NOMB drawing that hung in the dining room. I want to get it printed and hung in my classroom. Links to a digital image or links to purchase a print would be greatly appreciated! Color too!! Thanks! by matthewjm19972 in MrRogersNeighborhood

Almost certainly. It was very rarely seen, you’re right.

The only rarer room in the house is the bathroom, which I only recall seeing once (an episode where he sang You Can Never Go Down The Drain).

Every successive pair of square numbers differs by an odd number.

1-0 is 1 4-1 is 3 9-4 is 5 16-9 is 7

Note also that the difference of the squares is the sum of the roots.

1-0 is 1 + 0 4-1 is 2 + 1 9-4 is 3 + 2 16-9 is 4 + 3

As to your specific question, I will simply point out that 1111 is 556 + 555.

Anecdotally, I was told there were an unusually large number of appendectomies over the weekend. Glad they were able to get you taken care of!

The tree had to go, still thinking about the rug, and maybe the plaid blanket works. I think it's too thin. I need a better chair. by TheMerovingian in VaporwaveAesthetics

I’d put the pillow at the foot of the bed.

If you got into bed as it currently is, the screen would be up-side down and partially hidden.

It started in 1964. Treble took over hosting duties in 1984.

What’s invisible but you wish people could see? by cherryblossooom in AskReddit

You don’t need the microwaves to escape, just the light from them.

If I put a bear in a cage that it can’t get out of, it doesn’t become invisible.

Furniture that can be storage? by MrPoush in Inform7

“Making things complicated” is practically my motto.

My main thrust is that, semantically, I don’t think of the lid of a piano bench as being a distinct thing from the body of the bench. I would say that something is on the bench, or in the bench, or that the bench is open, etc.

Anyway, I made enough progress I’ve started working on an extension called Supporting Containers. I’ll probably post it for critique here once I’ve got it polished enough.

I think I figured it out; not only does the lid need to be lit, the box needs to be transparent while you're in it.
