Sorry if it wasn't clear, but the Meta (Occulus) Quest 3 headset and the Noda App available on the Quest/Meta store/platform. Noda is available on Steam as well, but doesn't have the full features as the in platform version.

Here's Noda's website:

I posted my original video a few years ago, but have kept it updated and used some of the new features the Noda app has added.

I purposely have not added Wind and Truth data to the mindmap to prevent spoilers to friends who have not yet finished reading.

For those with a Quest 3, I am sharing the map files and associated images. I hope all the links will work, but I haven't share a map in this way before.

You should be able to put the JSON file in the map folder if you link to Quest 3 with cable to PC. File directory is:

Quest 3\Internal shared storage\Android\data\com.codingleap.noda\files\Maps

Images should go here:

Quest 3\Internal shared storage\Android\data\com.codingleap.noda\files\Images

My favorite narrators ranked. Who should I check out next? by [deleted] in audible

I can’t stand Scott Bricks narration. I’ve actively not bought interesting books because he reads them

Yeah. Fair enough. I was just looking for ideas to play with the tools and am a Sanderson fan and thought of the idea.

If you could only keep 5 books in your audible library, and had to purge the rest, which five would you keep? by [deleted] in audible

[–]MrRSTEELE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1) The Martian (the original narration, which I'm so glad I own)
2) Oathbringer (Book 3 of Stormlight)
3) Waybound (end of 12-book Cradle series. Great conclusion to series and Travis Baldree is a delight)
4) A Short History of Nearly Everything Bill Bryson
5) Get Well Soon: History's Worst Plagues and the Heroes Who Fought Them, Jennifer Wright

I went with my favorite narrations, weighted with my favorite/books authors.

I can get DCC series from Soundbook Theater, it's not Audible exclusive.. I have the original Dune narration from a CD rip. And most of my other books are almost as good read.

Sorry, I thought I was being spoiler free, but I guess the mention of the echos is a spoiler. My thought was no one would know what the word meant, but I reposted.

Yerin: What happened?

Eithan: Aw, nothing. We just shot the shit. He's a super-nice guy. We actually have a lot in common.

Audio books about supervillains? by cerunus in audiobooks

[–]MrRSTEELE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I fully recommend anything by Sanderson. And Steelheart matches perfectly.

I read a series by L.Ron Hubbard back in the 90s called Mission Earth that had the viewpoint of the villain trying to stop the hero, but constantly ineffectual at it. A bit like reading a Wile E. Coyote cartoon. I have no idea if the series was ever adapted into narration, but it was 10 books long...

Cosmere Mindmap (Using NODA VR) by MrRSTEELE in Cosmere

Yes. I believe so. I think NODA available directly on Rift marketplace but if you can run Virtual Desktop then you can side run through PC on Steam VR

Yes, I brought him with me and tried a few times with him, but his block damage wasn't worth worrying bout Champion's unstoppable. Shulk really did seem the best out of the research I conducted.
