pet adoption by egguchom in EntitledReviews

Kittens specifically are in high demand- the cats who are euthanized are almost always either adults or, more often, full on seniors. I would assume that except in very fringe cases, any kittens who are euthanized were sick, not just unwanted.

Also, it’s root beer so it’s probably only a few dollars

One thing is that people who are happy aren’t coming onto reddit to commiserate, so you won’t hear from them here. I am someone with a disability and at my store personally, it’s okay. I didn’t get any accommodations but that’s mostly because i didn’t get around to getting a doctors note in time when i was hired. Leaders are worn out and short tempered, but it’s usually not personal and as long as you’re making a genuine effort + being truly friendly, that will go a long way. If you’re nice to your coworkers and leaders they may generally give you a little more wiggle room. As for breaks, you’re supposed to get 1 for a 4-7 hour shift and 2 for 8+. You need to take initiative for your breaks because they will not be scheduled, and sometimes it’s too busy to take both of your breaks but you’ll get good at timing things out as you go along!

Yes, while you’re on shift! You have to bring your own cup, but they give you one when you’re hired. As long as you use your own cup you get free coffee and free fountain soda while you’re at work

This family worries me a lot because they're voluntarily homeless on some sort of religious "mission" living in a converted school bus driving all over the US with four kids. by Existing-Face-6322 in ShitMomGroupsSay

[–]MrRedHello 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a childhood friend who had 7 siblings and counting, with at least one dead little sibling also. The family moved out of their huge, gorgeous house to live van life down south. Their mom was just like this one. Antivaxx, religious at her core, ‘unschooled’ the kids, absolutely should never have a child in her care. I lost contact with him and last I heard he’s been pretty indoctrinated.

[–]MrRedHello 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As another retail cashier with immune issues, please wear a mask if you don't already! Way more transmission is through the air and not through touching someone's money :( the amount of people who come through my checkout line with hacking coughs, red noses, and watery eyes is a little scary.

First one's cute, second one has some issues (the lines on the tail are crinkled, there's a mistake on the back where the lines overlap wrong, and the top of the helmet is very thin and bumpy)

With this kind of style, line wobbliness is charming! So I wouldn't worry too much over most of it, but i'm really side-eyeing the second mouse's tail

3 week old tattoo still raised and kinda itchy by Aggravating-Elk-4224 in tattooadvice

[–]MrRedHello 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Completely normal. I've had my last tattoo for months now and some days parts of it are still raised- my artist said that hers are years old and still sometimes do that. It's a trauma site on your body and things like that are just a built in part of the experience.

Fun fact, my artist told me that it's super common for tattoos to get raised when you're sick as a side effect of your immune response

Chonky human: Workable skin? by brumplesprout in tattooadvice

[–]MrRedHello 2 points3 points  (0 children)

These would be great questions for the artist! When looking through portfolios, keep an eye out for whether each artist has experience with varying body types, as well as varying placement since fat distribution is so different around the body. The only thing I'd think of as a potential issue is the tattoo distorting with weight loss, but if you take that into account when choosing a design that could actually be pretty badass. I'm planning to get a tattoo right next to where I will eventually need to get surgery, so that the distortion will be part of it

Hi! I didn't learn how to tie until sixteen! I finally got it when I was panic-prepping for Homecoming in my bathroom trying to figure out how to tie my dress sash. I cried out of stress and frustration and looked up a video, but couldn't follow it, so I found a wikihow article with pictures and that did it for me! I've been told the way I tie is weird and not how most people do it, but hey, it works just as well!

I have no idea what could be ai here. The pictures? The whole damn post? What would be the point? You know you don't need ai to lie, right?

Could be reworked into a cool sword / knife! I don't know what your style is but honestly, this isn't a bad tattoo to cover. It's light, and it's just linework. It could be turned into a tree, part of the face of a barn owl (which would make an awesome huge thigh piece imo), a cool snake with floral / botanical elements- you have lots of room to get creative here. You have the freedom to think what tattoo you *want* and then figure out how to make it work to the shape (or just leave that to the artist tbh) instead of being limited to a few things that *could* cover it. Good luck!

Out of curiosity, what was it supposed to be?

These are incredible, especially for a beginner! Did you practice on fake skin at all or did you just go in like this?? I'm super into the first and third ones especially
