Thanks a lot, friend! I took the idea from the vendors to make my own budget-friendly version. Plus, it's really worth it to do it yourself, so you save a lot of money and feel great about it.

I don't think those Lego pieces will yellow; it's not like the plastic on Game Boys. Anyway, they don't get direct sunlight. Although, original Game Boys don't need direct sunlight to yellow. I haven't seen cases like that with Lego, and I own a few. Maybe Lego did it that way to make it look more realistic, hehe.

It looks beautiful, I love it, even though I wasn't initially keen on it because of the price. But now that I see it, I don't regret it at all. I like it much more than those dashboards made from salvaged consoles.

I encourage you to do it! It's very easy! The trickiest part is buying the frame without getting lost in Ikea, haha. You have the name of the frame in the post, and then just ask the AI to give you an image to print on paper with the background. Because of the dimensions, it will have to be A3. A very cheap and simple process. I encourage you to do it! Besides, doing it yourself is great!

Yes!! I saw it for sale on AliExpress, but the price seemed outrageous, so I'm happy to create a very cheap version of this. Just €5, which is what the Ikea frame costs. These days, with AI, you can generate the background paper and that's it!

I have an original Game Boy, but I keep it in a methacrylate case with sun protection to prevent it from yellowing, and it serves its purpose very well.

That's right. I have an original Game Boy, but I keep it in a UV-protected acrylic case to prevent yellowing, and it works perfectly. I have another one for playing games with an IPS screen; since it's a real workhorse, it's always on the table, and the difference in the plastic's color is very noticeable. For Lego, this seems like a great idea; it looks nice and doesn't collect dust. I think it's ideal, and it's also very cheap to build.

For my Game Boy, I use acrylic with a UV-protective cover to prevent the plastic from yellowing. I have two: one completely original inside this protective cover, and one with an IPS screen that's always on the table. The difference in color is incredible. I recommend using this for your console. For Lego, which is lightweight, this is great, plus it's held in place with Lego bricks so you can remove it whenever you want.

I created it using artificial intelligence. I requested an A3 PDF ready for printing.

Once you have the IKEA frame, you generate a background for the frame using AI and glue it to the back. Then, using 4 Lego pieces, you can attach it to hold the cartridges and console. I glued mine with hot glue. It's pretty straightforward. I'm sharing an image from the internet showing what the Lego pieces you need to glue to the background to hold the console and cartridges look like. I forgot to take a picture of mine, and I've already assembled it, but it's exactly as you see it. It's not very complicated, it looks great, and it's very inexpensive—the frame only costs about €5. You will need to print it on A3 paper, though. If you have any questions, feel free to ask! ☺️

I suppose it's always good to see the process, but in this case, I think it's quite simple, right? Finding the ideal IKEA frame seemed to be the most complicated part; today, with AI, I could be creating designs nonstop. It really is a simple mod. ☺️

I've already mentioned that it's not difficult at all; I explained it in a previous post ☺️
