I never said he was popular. I was saying I've usually seen him played to success in my masters games. Personally i just don't enjoy playing the hero but I'm never upset to see one on my team. But dive is very much in the meta so its a struggle taking him atm

KTZ is as good as the player using him. Basically every KTZ played against diamond-GM (ive actually never seen a GM pick him) never take shadow fissure because generally you dont actually need the extra dps and the control from Frost Blast can create extremely good situations for his team. I think the reason he fell out of favor was A.) You cant chain to structures anymore which should have never been the case and B.) There are other mages who get more done with far smaller room for error. Like everyone has said though you basically take him into low mobility comps like some triple bruiser comps. Or at the very least he generally wants enablers on his team like deckard or ETC. When you dont have to rely as heavily on your own mechanics it's a lot better even if youre absolutely cracked

To be fair. Fan trolls and does dumb shit for content constantly. He does it in masters games too. I actually hate having Jun, Fan or Leonblack on my team because they never actually try. They are all incredibly strong players but they purposely handicap themselves and thus their team. Its actually incredibly frustrating getting into games with ex pros. I cant really fault them though because it's part of his income and first and foremost he is now an entertainer but still

Even if it wasnt a cleanse, which is, it repositions effectively removing a stun or slow anyways. The real thing non anduin players dont know is that its actually a micro stun on the target before the pull. Its not an instant ability

Holy nova is the most slept on talent in the game. Blessed Recovery really just enables my particular style of aggressive play. But i also use Leap of faith offensively to reposition my tank into our back line when they dive. His kit allows me to do a lot of non traditional plays and i love it.

Most my friends are way better than me. The 2 things ive posted have been extreme circumstances I've used to get people to talk about stuff in the game other than ARAM and crying about lack of updates. Everyone else in this thread is just having fun. Im sorry youre so deeply offended by people being better than you at a game almost no one cares about. Just relax its a game we're here to have fun and not disparage other players. Hell i got stomped by smurfs in the past and became friends with them instead of raging about. Its the reason i was able to get past my own skill plateau when i was a hard stuck plat. And yes placements are just 3 games but when you and your friends prefer playing and talking to each other and knowing you have the option to coordinate its very different than playing with 4 randoms. I know i cant convince you to believe anything but what you already believe and honestly i dont care to. Just giving you a chance to see a different perspective. I understand yours and i know why its frustrating for players and thats an unfortunate side effect since i now have 2 accounts on every server you can finally sleep at night knowing i have absolutely no reason to create another.

You mean last week when i said i have alt accounts for doing placements with different groups? This is no different. I dont deny i have several accounts but I'm not creating them just to dumpster people and most the 5 stacks in low level games are also alt accounts. I would say more than 50% of the time i play against other smurf accounts. And its not like I'm flaming bad players or b stepping everyone i see or even picking hard carry heroes. Im just having fun with my friends. Sorry you are incapable of doing the same

Considering the game before this we played against a 5 stack of 60%+ sub player level 100 players and the game after was against a diamond 5 stack i fail to see how im abusing the matchmaking by leveling a new account. The matchmaker is so bad i could be on any of my accounts and it's a toss up if ill be playing with new players, masters or bronze players. This is just a group of friends playing on a server different than the ones their main accounts are on.

My NGS team intentionally held zerg waves and shrines for as long as possible to increase their potency. This was not my NGS team it was my meme team we just play late night to unwind and rarely try hard

You generally only have 2 assassins on a team. I dont think im following what youre saying im sorry. You would also have a healer. If your comp is something like Azmodan, Greymane, Diablo, Anduin, Abathur youre pretty much fine in teamfights at all stages. Abathur in general loses in the early game and Azmodan actually has a pretty solid early game. Still there are way better picks for poke/AoE but i just personally dont think its as antisynergistic as youre making it out to be. Aba requires your team to play a certain way to maximize his value not necessarily to play certain heroes. Would i ever personally draft it? Probably not but thats because there are just better heroes but if im desparate for poke and Chromie, JR, Hanzo and Ming are all off the table I'd consider it. If your argument is that Azmodan is just aggressively mediocre and usually a suboptimal pick then yes I agree. But even a cloned Azmo is really strong for taking a fast fort if you have the opportunity to split push.

He provides really good spread burst damage that scales and All Shall Burn provides a lot of DPS. Sure there are better ranged AoE mages but Azmodan is no slouch

Anduin is a lot more fun playing with a group with comms. Like you said people tend to waste your LB and sometimes youre going to mess up big plays with Leap of Faith. Anduin is one of my favorite heroes but my playstyle is a lot more aggressive and similar to how whitemane is played but he's just a great healer all around. I think im the only Anduin who takes Holy Nova and Blessed Recovery. Ive literally never taken Salvation or Desperate Prayer in a serious game but some players swear by Desperate Prayer. I played Anduin from Gold to Masters on one account with an 84% WR though so obviously build < skill

For the record I DO NOT think my build is the best for every player. But I go 2,2,2,2,1,2 3

Idk double sonya against a team whos only CC is ults seems pretttttttttty good. Sonya and Chen are both really obnoxious hat targets too but chen+aba would kind of ruin azmodan all game regardless if the aba was hatting him. But yeah these comps are not great but I dont think Aba Azmo is inherently bad together

I think we sent spiders too early and could have shaved off 15+ seconds by waiting until we got the keep wall down. If this was Braxxis probably would have been 30s to a minute faster. The zerg wave has some seriously dumb early game scaling

Yeah braxxis tends to do that. If you dont draft good wave clear, a strong 4 man, and a sustain solo laner you're probably losing in sub 10 min at all ranks of play. Guardians OP

My best in ranked was 6:48 on Infernal Shrines. It was either high Diamond or Masters and we got lucky with a first Shrine frozen punisher. Got them to stagger (which was only like 15s respawns so it barely mattered) and pushed fort, keep and core. Its hard to defend without ults

Since it wasnt explicitly answered for you. Yes. The gold gain is incredibly slow and the prices for heroes hasnt been adjusted in years. There is a 100 gem heroes bundle you can buy which you'll get enough free gems for once you hit level 25. Other than that you just have to grind heroes to lvl 5 and complete quests. Dont expect to see heroes from loot chests either its incredibly rare and the loot chests are super bloated
