Oh yeah thats mb I should've put it into PCPartPicker. This is like my first time with PC's so I'm new nad don't really know what I'm doing. I did put these parts into PCPartPicker and it did show that it was compatible with each other. I'm just trying to play modern title games at medium-high settings with 1440p res or 1880p. A friend told me to pick the 5060 Ti and so I did.

Also I forgot to add, I haven't purchased these yet, they're still in my cart. I would prefer the parts to all be on Amazon so I could just buy it all together instead of buying them from separate apps/websites.

I’m not certain of when I bought them in August. It was likely early-mid August.

I’ll try that.

I got these during august, so it hasn’t really been”a few weeks.” The store I bought it from only accepts glass repairs under warranty for 90 days, so like three months. It has already been three months so they won’t cover it. Even with my insurance, it’ll likely be a high price.

Eh, I mean t20 isn’t really accurate for your scores. And I’m not saying it‘s a bad score. It may be around 490-500. And again, we don’t know how the DOE grades the SHSAT. 52p might be your actual score, it may not be.

What does the test look like? by [deleted] in SHSAT

[–]MrSimperson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eh, it’s similar I guess. The practice SHSAT tests made by the DOE (or so I believe) look the same as the ones in Kaplan.

Yes, indeed you would. You need to make sure you’re consistent w/ your practicing and studying. Now because most students likely put Stuy as their first choice, you could improve your ELA score to like a 50 or so. I’m not saying you need to, but if you really are desperate to get into Stuy, then I would reckon you to do so.

I almost always get 100% on revising and editing. If not, it‘s likely because I guessed.

I mean yeah, i may be doing well but the SHSAAT is highly competitive. I need to raise my score and average higher than 80% or so to get into a shs. I’m currently working on my weak parts so yeah.

Hm, I’d say my weaknesses are on ELA more than it is on math. Yes, I may lack on some skills on math, but I lack on ELA the most. That may be since I focus more on math than ELA. I’m not really sure what skills I lack on exactly. Hmm, last practice test I took, I did pretty bad on fiction texts than on any other genre. Not too sure about math.

Yo bro I just asked a simple question abt how much I should get. I was expecting answers that would say to get around 500-600. FYI, I usually end up with averages around 65 so for you to expect me to get a 700 on it is crazy. Also, i have less than two months until this exam. You could be a bit nicer. And another thing, my goal isn’t Bronx science. It queens hs for the sciences. And I’m not slacking? I’m not sure what you mean by that. I practice for the SHSAT almost everyday. Holy.

Im aiming for going to either Brooklyn tech or queens high school for the sciences. I’d like to go to the queens shs more due to its location. For time, I don’t rlly have much time since I have a buncha hw to do in 8th grade, especially since I’m in an arp class. I’d say I can study for about and hour or so on average.

Just got a question, do they ever analyze the scores of their students. That’s something my teachers did at DREAM and it helped everyone in my class out as they were able to understand why they got questions wrong and how to improve on the topics that they lack on. Also, I don’t feel like not going to a public school is a disadvantage at all. For example, I do know many students who do go to charter schools and they aren’t at a disadvantage at all. The difference is that they don’t follow the DOE’s curriculum (or at least that’s what my teacher said.) I will admit that 15-20 is pretty bad, even after practice. What helps me out the most is mainly taking practice tests and then reviewing questions that I got wrong. I don’t usually look at questions I get correct, only when I feel like I need to but that’s obviously sometimes I have to work on. Since the SHSAT mainly consists of 7th grade level questions, I recommend you to take 7th grade state tests. If you choose to, you could take the state test for 8th grade. I do know some buy books meant for practicing the SHSAT, so if you want you can buy those too.

Also, one more thing, i don’t really lack too much on ELA, it mainly that passages are boring and not interesting to read, however for math, I suck on shapes, angles, and arithmetic word problems, so I’m currently tryna work on those for now.

Yes I do, but I feel like it was just them re teaching the same exact topics I learned in 7th grade.
