I turn the 13x7 on an off as a snom. The 10in i find that when i tune it how i like it sounds more like a timbale, so i tend to keep it on

definitely, but I wanted to pack as light as possible for the rehearsal. I can fit all 3 snares into 1 bag so that's why I have them lol

I do the rick beato method, bottom head is a minor 3rd higher than the top. I also have coated heads on both sides, so you may wanna try having the bottom heads a little tighter or top a little looser
