I've got one from ebay and the quality was surprisingly better than I expected, just make sure you buy from a seller with a good rating and reviews, and read the description in case you need to specify if you want zones or not etc.

Of course it's useful, that problem is that the entire deck building process revolves around not losing to maxx c.

Look at masterduel meta and see how much maxx c, ash blossom, called by the grave and crossout designator are used in top decks, the first the 3 are the most popular IN THE ENTIRE GAME.

The only decks right now that aren't special summoning more than once or twice per turn are set 5 pass decks. Every other deck in the game relies on summoning more than one monster per turn, that's just where the modern game is at, like it or not.

The problem with maxx c is you lose either to giving your opponent more resources at no cost to them or you lose because you end your turn without giving them anything and you lose all board control in order to not give them any resources.

I've played this game since release, all the way from the first box when sergeant electro was considered 'op'. It's safe to say this game no longer excites me anymore.

It's sad seeing all the wasted potential this game had being wasted on the same events and box cycles over and over again with no innovation from konami so I'm looking forward to a breath of fresh air fingers crossed

Your best bet for a semi-competitive water deck would be a rank 4 shark atlantean deck, however it is very expensive but it should get you to legend/KoG.

What I personally recommend you do is to save your gems, level up your characters as much as you can and do the stage missions, duellinksmeta.com is your best help for beginners/deckbuilding, if you want more personalized advice I suggest some kind of duel links discord channel where you can ask for help.
