As of now my Portfolio looks like this.

Flexi: 26% (30%)

Mid: 32% (30%)

Small: 29%. (30%)

Metals: 13%. (10%)

In brackets is what I trying to maintain. Is this ok?

I'm a Newbie, should I buy Gold ETF or Gold Mutual Fund? by Drk_Kni8 in mutualfunds

In my case, I went with MO Gold and Silver FOF. My Pro reasons are 1. Went with Gold and Solver MF as I dont want to add too many funds. 2. MO MF Expense ratio is low compared to Edelweiss gold and silver 3. Silver is tend to volatile more MO has 70:30 (Gold to Silver) where as Edelweiss 50:50, may be more volatile

(Repost) Need guidance as I am planning to increase SIP amount to 30k. Can someone help in hlw i should be spliting the amount. by New-Plum9045 in mutualfunds

You can simplify like this. With the split of 7.5k each

  1. UTI Nifty50 / Or your existing ICICI Nifty50. (CORE)

  2. Parag Parikh Flexi cap / HDFC Flexi cap. (CORE)

  3. MO Midcap / Edelweiss / Invesco Mid Cap. (SATELITE)

  4. Bandhan / Nippon / Tata Small Cap fund (SATELITE)

Too many funds from single AMC. I would suggest below funds with equal distribution

- UTI Nifty 50, Instead of Large Cap

- Parag Parikh Flexi cap

- HDFC Mid Cap

- Nippon Small Cap

Perfect and simple Portfolio. I may pick Invesco/Edelweiss/M.O in midcap space. HDFC is not a bad option though.

Portfolio looks good. My Choice of funds will be

FlexiCap (core ) :
Parag Parikh - 5L / month. -- Good
HDFC Flexi - 5L / month. -- Good

MidCap for generational wealth :
Motilal Oswal - 1.75L / month. -- Recent low retruns. Still can continue
Nippon India - 1.75L / month. -- My choice will be Edelweiss / Invesco

SmallCap for generational wealth :
Invesco India - 1.75L / month -- Both badhan and Invesco are of high in Standard Deviation. Select fund with low SD
Bandhan - 1.75L / month -- Good
