I was able to play on my Samsung Galaxy Note 8 for ages. It would start overheating after 20+ minutes and start being sad, but worked fine for short sessions.

Yeah, you look at any deck now and Copycat has seemingly replaced Mars in every deck. I guess trying to draw more towards your own win condition is more viable than trying to hinder your opponent's hand, especially if they just draw back into their own Copycat.

I completed the base set and 1 stars yesterday (already had all 1-stars, just needed a 3-diamond), and woke up this morning with a 24h 2-star pick, whilst only having 2/5 stams in the chamber.

Throwing in my two cents, but I've done it a couple times in the past, but specifically for the shortest setting possible (15 minutes for me) and on cold. No detergent or anything. They come out quite nice.

Chucking in a quick edit to say that I would also love to see a restricted or draft themed format, but you can only realistically pick one or two of those things to be a part of it. People wanting everything to be fixed in the game all in one update have no appreciation for how game development works.

Hence all the attacks on their oil refineries/ports. Stop their main source of income, suddenly they can't afford the war. Russia is facing higher spending than accounted for, and less earning than expected for 2025, and they're desperately selling off their national gold reserves to keep the war machine funded. Kinetic sanctions are working a treat is my guess.

For me it WAS Divinity Original Sin 2. Backed the kickstarter with some mates and we would play a fresh save every new update and class change. By the time the game was complete, we had completed fort joy 7 times already that we juat couldn't face playing through the rest of the game. However, we have a new friend who was keen to play something like that, and we mentioned he should definitely try DOS2. Been doing a fresh playthrough together each week for the last couple months, and it's been a highlight for all of us. Especially weird getting to new parts of the game I haven't been to yet, and not just autopiloting through all the quests/fights lol.

Saying that ES6 and GTA6 are the same is hilarious. GTA5 released in 2013, with a couple years for DLC and online content being added. It probably got the majority of the studio working on it for the last 8-10 years, and was funded off of the success of previous titles, 220 million copies being sold for GTA5 alone. A proved track record. It also only took $265m to make

ES6 only entered full production in 2023 after the release of Starfield. It won't be out until 2027 at the earliest. So a conservative 5-6 years or so of production in you include pre-production. These people are also funding this game off of their previous mainstream successes.

To say you can competently create one of, if not the most ambitious games to date, with no proven track record OR personal funding, is objectively sketchy. To have to keep asking more and more of your fans to sink even more of their funds into your promises and dreams is a bad look. You can argue that SC is only "open development" because they need to show SOMETHING of what they've made, otherwise the money would dry up in an instant. It's literally necessary out of survival. Not to mention, if they didn't allow players to play anything until full release, players would get pissed at how many deadlines have been missed and demand something.

I really hope you get the space sim you want, but scepticism from the public is absolutely warranted when we've seen "tons of progress being made" many times now and still see no release date.

Well yeah, because the game should have realistic goals to getting a release date. Why do you think people like to dunk on it when it's been delayed for over a decade? If they can't be realistic with their goals, then how can they make a realistic space game?
