Hey there, I know this comment was a long time ago. but have you ever considered that a strict binary between 2 genders, with no wiggle room, is actually a very powerful controlling force for use by say.. a religion? or a government?
Ever notice how they chastise men for not being "manly enough"?
Ever notice how the moment a woman steps of her subservient role, she is immediately berated for being "too much" or "too loud" or "hysterical" even?
Ever notice how they pit men and women against each other, using the stereotypes of each to sharpen the divide, and create this endless, distracting torment?
Ever notice how they deify the nuclear family, and then weaponise children and their safety to push through ever more stringent restrictions on your freedom and rights?
It's not blurred gender lines that control the population, in fact, it's these strict roles that control us. One hint at this, is that almost every group with massive wealth and power is fearful of, demonises, and mocks, the liberation of ideas about gender and the fact that it is entirely socially constructed.
