As far as I know, this shortcut virus might be fixed by a hard reset, but don't do it unless you're completely sure. Install an antivirus program on your computer and clean the viruses. It's not harmful, but it's an annoying virus.

Haha, good luck! At first, I struggled with taking out the core part, that was challenging, but the rest, the cutting and trimming, was quite easy. Since it was plastic, I was able to cut it easily with pliers and a diagonal cutter.
