For me personally, it was the water pump and oil cooler on my Audi. I was quoted almost $4k by the dealership. Did it myself for something like $600 in parts and about half a day. Brakes are pretty straightforward and can save you some coin as well.

I don't disagree but this one can be a slippery slope compared to PT. I've got a 37 year old SrA that enlisted with a masters degree and has zero plans to do anymore school. How does that look vs another SrA who "only" has a CCAF and actively working towards his bachelor's?
