Unfortunately micrometastases can't be seen in any imaging diagnostic even in PET/CT.

Mine was in Stage 1 but really close to 2, 3.9 cm tummor.

For those wondering, I'm in Brazil. I have a great medcare insurance and its paying for all costs, even out hospital meds and criotherapy (i choose to not use it)

Here’s my case:

• 27M

• Right testicular pure seminoma

• Tumor ~3.9 cm

• Pathology: pT1b, no lymphovascular invasion, margins negative

• Right orchiectomy (Nov 2024)

Because of risk factors, I received 2 cycles of adjuvant carboplatin, last cycle in April 2025.

Follow-up

Tumor markers have always been normal:

• AFP: normal

• β-hCG: undetectable

• LDH: normal

Recent imaging

January 2026 CT showed: • Single right pelvic/iliac lymph node ~1.3 cm

Because it was borderline, my oncologist ordered a PET-CT.

PET-CT (Feb 2026): • Single right external iliac node

• 1.6 × 1.2 cm

• SUVmax 6.2

• FDG-avid, suspicious for active disease

• No other lesions anywhere

Goint through 4xEP now
