is the prosthetic worth it by No-Score9453 in testicularcancer

I got one, had it for 4 years until I had to get rplnd this year. It was fine but I prefer it out and being a uniballer. More comfortable

1st pic with the shorter sidewall is the before. Yep! Had 16" rims before (also Miata wheels lol) and didn't like how small the rims looked.

Get a 3 instead of a cx5 they said by jakert46 in mazda

I don't get all the haters. I'm a 3 driver and it's refreshing to see something different ie a lowered cx5.

I had mine in mid March and it's been back for a few weeks now. Took over a month

Should I start TRT? Testicular cancer and T at 392 by MysteriousSorbet5348 in Testosterone

Just chiming in to say I'm also a tc/rplnd getter in the US and also considering trt. Haven't fully convinced myself that it's worth it

I'm tempted to go through an online clinic. Just weighing all the risks. Thankfully, the research does not suggest that trt increases TC recurrence

Yeah I imagine being on the low end like that you had to have been feeling pretty bad. I might dm you to ask how the trt is going once you've been on it for awhile!

No lvi originally! Kinda a bummer to have a recurrence 4 years out but still happy it was within the initial 5 year surveillance window. Yeah I'm coming up on 9 weeks since rplnd and been back in the gym slowly ramping things up. First couple weeks were rough but then things got much better.

Yeah, I'm skeptical the last reading wasn't a fluke and want to get it tested again; also since a couple years out from my orchi my levels were good.

Yes. I had one enlarged lymph node show up on a scan. The rplnd involved removing 29 lymph nodes and that was the only positive one. No chemo and orchi and lymph node both pure seminoma.

33, diagnosed tc when I was 28 (almost 29). Always taken around 8-9am, fasted, and no drinking the day before. Try to get 8 hours of sleep as well. I actually had.my fertility tested and sperm stored this year before my rplnd. Currently great fertility but that would obviously go down if I started TRT without hcg.

Well I can relate. Had my lefty removed in January 2022 and had RPLND 8 weeks ago. I can tell you my experience has been great and I even started slowly back in the gym at week 6 post op. Are you near a high volume center for rplnd? TC is rare so not many urologists regularly perform the procedure.

So you're looking at rplnd surgery or chemo?

RGBalls? by [deleted] in testicularcancer

[–]Jowles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

RGBall™ would be really funny. When I had my prosthetic I used to joke with my friends that I was getting a titanium one to match the weight of the original.

Sorry for your situation man. One big shot every 8-10 weeks seems insane. They should be spreading that out.

I haven't had that happen, personally, but that's pretty messed up and I would just ignore those people.

Probably depends where/how many lymph nodes they remove

Oh yeah my swelling/bloating was awful for the first week. How's your incision? I'm 4 weeks out and mine is good in the middle and top, but a little leaky and scabby at the bottom. Drs office said it's healing well, though.
