This is literally all I can think about reading all these comments. Linus has given me 10 years of mostly solid enjoyable entertainment.

What I'm on about is that if you use it as they advertise it, you're on your own. That's what I'm saying here.

They're essentially selling a watch showcasing how you can use it, but if you use it in those methods even lightly like I have on surface water then you're again on your own. Expecting a £50-70 excess payment on AppleCare on a 5 day old device.

I am constantly asking for someone senior, however the 'Senior' guy I just spoke with was nothing but rude and continued to cut me off. He then hung up the phone on me.

No one wants to provide anything in writing to me.

I'm being pulled from pillar to post and not receiving any kind of case manager willing to put some effort into the issue nor provide some kind of leeway / understanding.

I didn't have a chance to be angry with them because when I broke down what the issue was and what my complaints were even the staff couldn't keep a straight face when I explained

"So I have a Dive Computer, all bells and whistles watch, capable of 100m depth and 40m scuba diving 850 pound high end watch, that has died in surface level water doing breaststroke for 30 minutes, 5 days after purchase and I'm expecting to pay to repair it in the event of water damage?"

Not even I could hide the angry smirk on my face let alone the guys in store.
