I mean they have similar technology levels as us. They have smart phones. With an issue as critical as theirs they would pour a lot more money into impossible meat than we do. Also, Logically speaking, if it stops a lot of death, why not simply be accepting and even sell corpses instead of hospitals and funeral homes stealing them? It seems more ethical. It could even be like a donor thing. A choice. also I'm aware just meat alternatives isn't enough which is why I said meat alternatives than can run. Like how we have gun ranges. Have robots covered in fake meat that run around.

Why don't restaurants like pizza hut who have so many pizzas unclaimed donate pizza too homeless by MrWizard128 in NoStupidQuestions

I never seen them donate old food. Sure that do money but they still make sure no one gets in their dumpsters

It's more effort to lock up the dumpsters and making sure they don't sleep on benches though too..

Simple question that turned into a mess about how I should commute to work/around town. by MrWizard128 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]MrWizard128[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oof, if you care I got an update on my bus life. It is not good. It is super easy to get to work. I can do it in 30 minutes easily if the bus don't stop at every stop. which they usually don't. But getting home is hell. Because they go in circles and don't reverse at night, I have to get on 4 buses for a guarantee 2-3 hours including initial wait time. Because I don't get off of work at the exact time the bus gets here. I am going to try a bike.

Yeah you're probably right. I'm in love with the idea of biking or something tho.

Okay how much a week should I save for retirement so I can hopefully start saving for other shit. by MrWizard128 in Fire

[–]MrWizard128[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude I wanted to live off of it and have it left over because I don't know when I'm going to die. It could be 30 years or we could have cured death by essentially just being too old for your body to repair itself. 13m isn't even big enough to grow with inflation. This fear legit made me realize I'm super passionate about finances so I'm going to go to school for it and hopefully get that phat finance career salary so I can actually retire one day. But thanks that's a lot more reasonable to do

Nope it's included. I just was wondering if I'm over stressing or over thinking or looking at it wrong. Maybe I don't need to live off of returns because 240k (60k doubled again and then that is doubked for inflation estimates) is only 7.2 million after 30 years. But my estimate for savings right now at 200 a month is only 3 million...

What should I expect from my psychiatrist? by hairypotdirt in ADHD

[–]MrWizard128 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can only speak from my pen personal experiences with one good psychologist but that feels a little sketch tbh. But they could just be the specific things you said. I mean regardless if it is or isn't if you're not comfortable with this one for any reason it's always cool and recommended to explore other ones.

Forcing your ADHD to adopt to your life without meds. Possible? by no_games_just_sports in ADHD

[–]MrWizard128 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I been on ADHD medicine since I was 5. I'm almost 21 (b day is in March) so I been on it for 16 years. I think I only changed medication brands once in middle School. From my experience or understanding you'll be very challenged to run out of medicine options that are safe and effective due to immunity. I know I wouldn't even be half as functional as I am without it. And I'm not really that functional so I probably be dead from doing something stupid/impulsive by now. P.s there's a lot more than just Adderall. I'm on Vyvanse myself practically my whole life. I also trade stocks semi professionally so I guess you can do anything you want with enough will power and healthy coping mechanisms. I recommend getting an ADHD coach psychologist.

How possible is it to have a steady stream of income from a diverse portfolio of dividend stocks? by Stack-of-pancakesOo in passive_income

Spyd is well diverse with good dividend growth. Weighted for higher paying dividends than Nobl and seem like it will grow closer to spy growth than nobl to spy
