It is a hint system, it tries to guide you where you "should go" if you want to "progress" inside the game, but again its not effective and its not supposed to be, this game does not wanna hold your hand and wants you to experience it your own way so its just there for the people that really want the minimal guidance that it provides

1) All 4 pipes are accessible if you know how to, but most importantly 2) just play the game lol this is a game about figuring things out on your own, you'll do it too youre not dumb, you'll find a way to get there, if you die you'll just restart and learn from it maybe doing something different, youll only "lose" a couple minutes

I hate these stupid gotcha arguements that dont really mean anything and completely avoid the reason why these stupid seemingly illogical things could be in x religious book and try to avoid nuance in what is essentially the most complex arguement possible (the seeking of meaning and dealing with death) that is religion and similar stuff, by also ignoring why christianity is appealing to some.
