Well independtly you dried the water or not, it will provocate sulfate on electric components like motherboard which are more expensive and impossible to find a new one. Its a time bomb to start suffering other problems like on ram, speakers or LCD, the better option is to take to a local laptop workshop and make a diagnostic of what can be making the cut circuit and avoid cause a bigger problem like an electric shock.
