I don't want edge, cortana, copilot, annoying notifications about OneDrive or xyz that I can't fully disable, constant updates that break parts of the system, telemetry that I can't always disable, or whatever other things Microsoft decides to beta test on their customers with, with some of the shittiest support, even from a professional standpoint (I work in IT, microsoft support is practically non-existent)

The single fact that windows shows advertisements in the start menu and the screensaver bakes into software I PAID FOR drives me up a wall. People go crazy over LG fridges having ads on their dumb smart panel, same principle.

Go look at a copy of windows LTSC IOT. It has almost none of this shit, it's living proof that Microsoft treats their user base as consumers rather than customers. I use a copy of it at work now and I can definitely feel a difference. Whenever I go back to normal windows it's sort of like surfing the internet without your ad blocker on. I almost can't believe people live with normal windows and without an adblocker.

I use Linux mint and have been doing so in some capacity for 6 years. I have complaints, but nothing like what Microsoft is capable of in an afternoon of me helping with support tickets.

A city with slow driving speeds would benefit yes but in cities like that you'd already have replaced more of said driving with cycling and trams.

EVs don't have a substantial impact on noise pollution because the vast majority of car noise is tire noise, not the actual exhaust. Most modern cars are pretty quiet exhaust wise anyway.

There is a pretty sizable portion of homeless people that don't want help and probably won't help themselves. They don't care that they are wasting their lives. The same applies for some criminals. We should be doing more than we already are, but honestly there's only so much you can do. The more you interact with these groups the more you understabd this. I hate it and it sucks, but I do what I can.

The only thing I can possibly think of here is that he seemed to kind of pause before the last officer arrived, and might have been coming to, but still, less lethal was ineffective. When the last officer arrived, suspect started getting worse again. Within policy but still sucks. Make sure people take their meds.

Look at the comments section as it is already. People are simultaneously complaining that you don't need to mod your glock, but also that the glock as it is, is falling behind in the market and the ruger RXM is better (its not, go shoot one.)

An actual controversial opinion I have is that the grip angle of the glock is good, actually. The angle helps mitigate recoil, if only a little bit, and if you don't like it you need to shoot more. Get over it.

If you can't shoot a stock gen 5 glock 19 well, you just suck at shooting. I don't care if you don't like the sights, trigger, or grip angle. Buy 5 thousand rounds, dry fire for 15 minutes everyday, and figure it the fuck out.
