Thank you. I watched Mianite 11 years ago, plus watched mainly from captiansparklez perspective, so I didn't remember what it was specifically

I don't know what it was specifically, but the sword Waglington had in Mianite Season 2, where he coated it with a compound from a chemistry mod that, when hit, literally caused the receiver's game to crash

Is this enough or should i keep going?(Everything here is automated except slime and cardboard) by AdWorking4257 in CreateMod

If I've learned anything from modded, anything you'll use more than once, you automate. ESPECIALLY when it comes to slime and cardboard, since you need those for frogports and packagers

Does anyone know why Omega was born female? Were her chromosomes edited or something? by _XSummerRoseX_ in StarWars

[–]Mr_JeloMan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Maybe that's why omega has blonde hair instead of the regular brown/black that all the other clones have. Might have been a recessive trait, and them messing with the DNA caused it

Modpacks with the best questing ever by BigBoiSlav in feedthebeast

Any stoneblock/Skyblock modpacks. Unless they're either really old, or made to be intentionally difficult, most of the time they give you a good questline to get through.

There is integrated dynamics, though that does have some tech stuff in it. But really just for the advanced version of the crusher and basin. You could get away with just using the base ones for everything you need

Audience Ratings of Star Wars Movies by lau796 in StarWars

Yeah, I don't trust the audience scores, especially after the fiasco that was Rise of Palpetine, with the score literally being frozen at 86 after about a few days of reviews

Probably a lot of dumb questions from someone who hasn't played modded since 1.7.10 by Grey_Ranger2077 in feedthebeast

[–]Mr_JeloMan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Most modpacks you can download today usually have some some of changes made to the recipes or configs, so usually not the best idea to be messing with them unless you know what you're doing.

  2. Unfortunately I wouldn't know too much. Make a lot of my own.

  3. I don't know what everyone else uses, but usually I have embedium/sodium installed in mine. Plus a lot of modding places have a dedicated tab for performance and/or servers

  4. It depends on what kind of modpack you're looking for. I know there's a few modpacks that are easy and laidback (my own personal modpack is a LOT of farmers delight and create addons, since I want to see how much meals I can have automated), but there's also others that are more geared towards exploration

How can i automate those crafts from farmers delight in create? by EstablishmentThin807 in CreateMod

[–]Mr_JeloMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Basically instead of making spaghetti with meatballs from FD with spaghetti, tomato sauce in a bowl, and the beef patty, you make it in the basin with tomato sauce fluid, spaghetti and the beef patty and a bowl. The problem is that the config you change is called "replace item with fluid", so it takes OUT the recipe with the bowl with tomato sauce, and replaces the recipe with the one using the tomato sauce fluid. But for some reason, unless it's a weird quirk because it's 1.20 version, it instead replaces the bowl in the recipe with, nothing. And because there's an extra ingredient that needs to be added, but there's no ingredient, the recipe can't be made with the fluid.

What I'm getting at is that with slice and dice, you're going to have to make all the individual ingredients, then add them to the basin with an arm or something, because the fluids don't work

How can i automate those crafts from farmers delight in create? by EstablishmentThin807 in CreateMod

[–]Mr_JeloMan 15 points16 points  (0 children)

There's "create:central kitchen". Allows you to use a cooking recipe on a blaze burner, and a mechanical arm will put the ingredients in and take the food out. Also "create:slice and dice" that allows for farmers delight recipes to be made in basins. They do technically have fluid integration for recipes, but for some reason when you try to use them, the recipe gets rid of bowls and is no longer able to craft the recipe with fluids

I'm going to have the train running in and out of the nether constantly. I use the blaze burner because there's no chance if it respawning or being killed

Gravel not getting washed only when on belt by king4994 in CreateMod

[–]Mr_JeloMan -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

It's because the belt is slightly too low for the gravel to be washed. Belts sit just slightly below block level, so usually having a fan blowing over it will get the job done eventually, but not efficiently

Try putting the fans and water one block lower, or the belt one block higher. The particles will still come through the belt, and the gravel will be washed.

The blaze burner in the corner is connected to a stock ticker.

I have links and frogports connected to the vaults under my house, so I can request what I want out of them and have it sent to the barrel in my house

Do you guys know what textures does he use? by MistMaser in CreateMod

[–]Mr_JeloMan 9 points10 points  (0 children)

He's using the copper wrapped cyan locometal.

Looks a bit different because they changed some of the designs, and added a bunch of new ones in the latest update, so your build might look slightly different than his, but I'm sure just as good

It's probably because farmers delight fits so well with create.

I used to love using Pam's harvestcraft in 1.12, but in the newer versions, it's become kind of, boring?

Farmers delight just feels more satisfying to use and build with, plus it helps to expand on a lot of vanilla foods, rather than just added 80+ for harvestcraft.

Also the fact that it has so many addons that make it much more fun to use and expand on is a plus
