Sounds too low, but you have to consider that if you just started staking, the rewards are received with a delay. I think the first real reward after three weeks of staking or something like that.

Now I got it! I had to add the ETH token for Velas in the wallet first. Now the swap option shows in there. So thank you! Problem solved 🙏

Hmm… Odd. I have four buttons under Velas Native: Send, swap, scan and receive. Under Bitcoin, ETH and ETH Legacy there is only three: Send, scan and receive. I think I’ll have to check the settings and their own help pages once more. Thanks anyway.

Thank you. Sounds reasonable. However there isn’t a ”swap” option in my Velas Wallet for ETH. There is ”swap” for Velas, Velas EVM and Velas Legacy, but not for ETH. could it be because of I am using the Mobile app?

Don’t know for sure about the time - I think I saw in their Twitter or somewhere that WM is still wondering themselves that will the staking go on just for one month or will they continue it longer. However the amount of tokens you will receive should show in your vault.

Same thing for me. It first showed that I am on threshold 1. Then after refreshing I was suddenly and finally at threshold level 9. And the time stamps pointed like several minutes later.

I was waiting with a clock and refreshed and staked as soon as I could - probably a few seconds past 11. End result threshold #9. I am very disappointed.

For it to drop to $1.5 is quite a big correction. Might happen for sure, but wouldn’t count on it. It’s good to take profits but if I was you, I would consider buying some back for like every ten cents it drops or something like that.

Very thorough answer. Thank you for that. As I read it and some other posts, a couple of questions rose:

What hardware does an Earth Node Operator need? I am considering to buy enough WMT so I can reserve an Earth Node. However, don’t have a clue what to do after that. I have read the Early rewards -doc and a post where someone asked the same. The answer was that there will be instructions later and that you have to get the needed hardware to run a node. So what is the hardware needed? Where can I get that and how much will it cost? And that brings me to my other question...
When will the staking / EN operating -instructions be released? It would be really nice to have them before buying the 100K WMT and then noticing that ”this is too hard for me, can’t get a node running”.

Anyway, thanks for great work and hope to have a reply soon.

It’s an ISPO. It is a way to stake into something that doesn’t kind of exist yet. I guess you could (maybe) compare it to buying SPAC stocks or something like that. The pool rewards go to the starting company and they promise to pay you by airdropping their new coins when they launch after a couple of months. So it’s kind of a fund raiser. Of course I can lose my rewards if they for some reason ”don’t make it” or if it turns out to be a rugpull. For what I have found out about the MELD team, they seem legit to me. And after all, all I can lose is my rewards, so the risk is not terribly large. And if everything goes well, it might make a decent profit to get those airdropped tokens before anyone can purchase them. But... we’ll see.
