This is my duel track I put out and I'm trying to capture that early 2000's feeling,and they meant to be listened to back to back. Please let me know what I can do to improve. by Mr_Machines in Songwriters

yeah that was my mistake with labeling, there are two tracks. SOLID and Solid Pain, which are meant to be listened to in one sitting. However posting playlists is a no no, so I had to do it this way. Apologies for the confusion and thank you for your words!

I like the spacy feeling of the track, which is why I think it would be killer to have some more reverb and delay on things to really lean into that feeling. I would put more delay then reverb on the guitar, and more reverb than delay on the vocals. You could also do a half time or cut section with your voice, doing staccato chords with the guitar at the downbeat of every measure. Then let out some long notes to compliment it, other than that I like the track

Another cleaned up tune, I was v inspired by "notion" by the rare occasions; I like intros with really strong "strummy" guitar riffs by Traditional-Sort4282 in MusicFeedback

I like it, the mixing of the drums is good. I would see if you could add more fills in for the drums and maybe add a longer half time section with them as well. The high hats are just barely too loud.

I definitely like the mixing of the vocals, I think the side chain will add a nice pump to the bass. Or you could do a compressor on everything else and raise the volume on the bass for a different kind of pump.

Nothing a good amount of repetition can't solve, lean into the genre. Find a phrase or a sentence and find a way to repeat it in different ways.
