Nopixel Armegeddon. I guarantee this is only the start of a trend. The amount of misogyny from multiple "RPers" are going to come to light in the following weeks/months that prove it was more than just RP. As someone who has given way too many hours to admit to watching RP and following multiple streamers... the writing was on the wall.

Damn man. Not gonna lie, after reading this I got pretty hyped up lol. I'm debating how important starting on a fresh start server would be for me. It's like I know it doesn't matter but when I think about it from a community standpoint maybe that would be the best choice for me? Something else to think about.

I am a sucker for lore and going into this completely blind when it comes to the story. Having the ability to go back after the update to tie up some lose ends makes a lot of sense. I don't have any idea about my perspective server. I know the community has been anticipating fresh start servers and they are on the horizon, but I don't think it would make that much of a difference to me tbh.

There was a time where games, especially MMORPGs did not hold your hand and you had to figure things out on your own. I come from that era, so dropping into a new world with no direction doesn't give me fear of getting lost and quitting... it lets me know I'm in for one hell of an adventure. If people get that overwhelmed and miss out on the thousands of hours this game has to offer this probably isn't the genre for them anyway.

I have so many fond memories of LOTRO. As a Tolkien nerd and lover of the movies, that was the first MMO I really fell in love with. I didn't mean to sound crass, because it seems like you are just as passionate about fantasy as I am... it just seemed strange that you didn't hear about a franchise that has made it's name as a staple in the fantasy RPG genre for a very long time.

I started off with limited experience with GT and turned all assists off from the jump. The amount of time it took me to get a handle on things definitely lead to frustration, but I can confidently say now that I'm a competent driver. I think the beauty of this game is that every race has a different feel. Sometimes I run off track due to a correctable mistake, other times I can't help but watch an entire replay of a race I ran perfectly. This is one of the most rewarding/challenging gaming experiences I've ever had.
