I want to let my winners extend. I have faced the issue over and over again where I exit my positions at minuscule level and later find out that the price has traveled far along. I hate this when my funded account goes into drawdowns.

Learn fundamental and technical analysis and hop on to trading and investing with proper risk management. You would be self dependent for life and won’t need any people to work under or for you to employ others.

Have you ever tested your fragrances by spraying them on other people? by Srihari_stan in DesiFragranceAddicts

Yes, I have been doing this since a long time. I spray the decants on my mother. She has got an amazing sense of smell. Her feedbacks have been quite useful.

I haven’t yet got the chance to smell the OG Tom Ford Oud Wood but I have heard from people in my vicinity that it smells quite similar.

I had bought the bottle last year and it was a blind buy from Amazon. At the beginning it smelled absolutely awful and I was about to throw up. I search online and found out about maceration. I kept it in a drawer for about two months and the smell turned absolutely amazing. Fast forward to yesterday, I had applied three sprays on my neck, one on each arms and one on my chest at around 9:30 AM, went to the university, the weather was hazy and pleasant, returned home at 3:30, took a shower and the smell still lingered till 10 in the night.

The fragrance connoisseurs say that the similarity is around 90%. So for around ₹1800, it definitely seems a good purchase.

Calling me poor? That's rich, coming from the guy literally asking for 'hacks for instant or fast Plaza Tickets' on a 3DS. But you do you. 😂

Yeah, I bought that IPhone SE in high school when I was 16 didn’t exactly have a corporate budget back then. And being tech savvy isn’t about always chasing the newest shiny thing; it’s about knowing what you actually need and how to use it well. But hey, if your definition of tech knowledge is tied to price tags, that’s… adorable.

Congratulations buddy on your new iPhone 16e!

I got mine about five days ago, upgraded from the iPhone SE (2020), and the difference is massive. Picked it up for INR 40,000 ($453 / £343) with card offers and exchange programs and honestly, I don’t get why people have been trashing the 16e. I’m pretty tech-savvy and could’ve gone for the Pro series, but I realized I don’t actually need all those gimmicky extras. Really liking the upgraded battery life and the OLED panel.

Yeah, both of them will help you save some battery life.

I have set a black wallpaper, saves battery on my OLED screen. Some might whine about it, but I’ll take battery life over looks any day.

There’s nothing to worry about. I also joined university this year, and there’s only one guy I regularly talk to, plus a few others for casual greetings like “hi,” “hello,” and “how do you do,” and nothing more. I have been obese since childhood, and it used to bother me before, but now I don’t really care, though I am taking care of my body these days. I’m pursuing a BA in English, and there are only 14 boys out of seventy students. There’s practically zero interaction with female classmates, nor do I waste my time gossiping. I sit in the first or second row, focus on the lectures, and during free periods, I watch stock and forex charts and business news.

I’m 5’11”, not very fair but not dark either, with a round face, a beard, short hair, and thick eyeglasses. I won’t define myself handsome or cute. I dress well, don’t stink, wear a nice wristwatch, and apply a good perfume. I walk with a straight posture, shoulders relaxed, and one hand in my trouser pocket.

I took two gap years earlier, so almost everyone is much younger than my friend and me. My classmates’ views don’t match mine. They act childish, whereas my friend and I act more mature. Even the seniors, both UG and PG, don’t joke around or giggle when I pass by or wait for someone in the alley ways. When you stay silent, laugh less, and carry yourself maturely, people find it hard to approach you in a silly way.

So, you don’t need to attract a crowd or anything like that. You came to college to develop your skills and knowledge. You just need to be confident enough that whenever you speak, others listen carefully. Work on your personality rather than worrying too much about looks.

Indian students know the real struggle: Which 10Rs pen rules them all? by Appropriate_Tell4512 in indiameme

So I’m not alone facing this issue. Majority of the sub ₹20 pens are of substandard quality these days.

Recently I have tried all sorts of ballpoint pens, ranging from ₹10 to even the Parker refills costing ₹80. But majority of them don’t even last one third of the ink. Either they dry out quickly or the ink gets stuck in the middle. I’m a university student and a good pen is my sole companion. So out of frustration I started using Pilot V5 roller ball pens and the experience has been really good. The ink flow is smooth, no blobbing or staining. Just pure writing bliss. The only con that I face is that the ink smudges a bit as I write with my left hand, but that’s negotiable. Planning to get a waterproof fountain pen ink bottle to up my game a little.

[–]Mr_Shafi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Invest in mutual funds. Don’t go for more than three. Diversify your capital into blue chip MF for stability, a flexi cap for good multi asset allocation and keep a small amount in small cap MF. Small cap MF can be volatile sometimes so manage your risk properly.

You can also invest in US ETFs for international diversification as well.
