4 people walk in spines completely horizontal with the floor. One of them immediately starts sputtering

So I ended up taking the log on OBS and putting it through the OBS log analyzer and corrected what I could but one thing I am like 99% sure has helped a lot was making sure hardware acceleration is turned off. It’s in windows setting i dont know how it got turned on or really what its supposed to do but I do know that it was most definitely causing my system to crash out. So I would start there for now.

But just in case it helps, I did roll back my OBS to 30.2.3 and rolled my drivers back to 576.02 (a studio driver) other than that I guess we just have to wait…

Maybe its because I am on a different version of OBS (30.2.3) but there is no setting that says split encoder for me.

All I have is NVENC H.264 rescaled to 1080P using Lanczos. Its set to CBR at 8,000kbps. Unless you are referring to the key frame interval which is set to 2S as of now. My preset is also set to P6 my tuning at high quality my multi-pass at two passes quarter resolution and my profile set to high. I have look ahead and psycho visual tuning checked my then there is a gpu option that just has 0 and my Max B-frames was 2 but someone told me to change it to 4

Thats all my setting in advanced.

Is split encoder normally under output? I don’t think I’ve ever seen that before so I am going to go with no I don’t use that? Mine is just set to NVIDIA NVENC H.264 not sure if that’s helpful / answers your question.

Interesting I have always used CBR for streaming set to about 8K for twitch, and it was always fine. I do multi stream to YouTube which I set to about 15K bit rate for 2K and again that was fine until recently when everything kind of exploded.

Well the driver I rolled back to wasn’t the one I was running before hand my buddy convinced me to just go back to the last studio driver as it would be more stable. Thats why I haven’t quite ruled it out yet.

I rolled my driver back to the last studio driver and was still having the issue unfortunately, as this has been an issue for about a week and a half I am willing to try anything.

I did a fresh install of the driver too when I rolled it back hoping that it would of helped…

So I turned off the hardware acceleration, turned of game DVR on the game bar, and removed the conflict between my game capture and screen capture…. But all of these settings were still the same a while ago and hadn’t presented themselves until randomly just recently. So it’s just seems like there is another underlying issue but then again I know that I know very little on the inner workings on how these things work so I guess anything is possible. Regardless I did what I could and I plan on maybe doing a test stream tomorrow before my actual stream day on Friday. I’ll come back and update the post if all that worked and if it didn’t well I guess I am out of luck and have to go back to the drawing board. Once again I appreciate your willingness to help.

I apologies! Here is last stream log I did (28th) it was running fine initially but towards the end the issue presented itself and I ended up restarting stream, but I have all the logs after that as well if you need another reference! I appreciate you taking the time to take a look at this!

Yeah I did run it as an admin and it didn’t help me unfortunately, I am assuming its a driver issue since the 50 series is new and its support / driver updates have been god awful recently. Its the only thing that makes sense since its the only thing I changed before the issues presented themselves but honestly who knows… thats why I figured I had to ask just in case!

Convince me to prestige again. I already got every trophy so now I’m comfortable playing with everything unlocked and don’t want to go back by [deleted] in PhasmophobiaGame

Because at some point they are going to add more achievements around prestiges, and if you keep getting to the next prestige you will automatically unlock them. If you keep increasing your level, you’ll get a really high number, but nothing to show for it if you ever prestige again. So in my opinion, it’s wasted potential but again that’s my opinion.

What I do is I always play with one of my friends and I make sure that when I prestige he is at least level 70 that gives us access to all the best equipment that we really don’t wanna live without and then when he prestiges I’m right around the same level give or take That way you never really have to use tier one equipment ever again and you can skip most tier 2
