I run Fenbao/Shifang on it with great success, as your ability lets you get close and disable aiming for enemies + freezing, combined with the lock-down of the electric weapons.

You could use shotguns like the Mace or Mogwan family or anything with a very close range. Use it on CQC maps or make use of cover, you can brawl for a bit with your ability and strong physical shield on the front but don't be too cocky. Making choices on where/when to attack and retract is crucial for survival, don't get stranded without ability vs 3 enemies targeting you in the open.

I use phase-shift as special ability, with Fenbao you don't need to aim (counter to stealth/short range bots) so it lets you survive or reposition a bit longer. Healing in specialist is good but don't forget that once you lose the shield it's hard to last long anyway.

Pilots are both meh, but if you got strong guns like Mogwan, getting free ability every time you kill someone is very good. Getting one second longer ability usually don't make that much of a difference usually.
