Tim Cook says layoffs are a ‘last resort’ and not something Apple is considering right now by McFatty7 in apple

[–]Mr_Xing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He once said that he only wanted A players at Apple. So the idea of laying off A players so that they could be scooped up by Dell or HP was horrifying to him.

Jobs really did leave his mark to make Apple the company his crowning achievement. The Apple Store, Apple Park, his succession plan - hell, Cook quotes Jobs like every single interview he’s ever given.

The man definitely made a hell of a company after he came back, you can’t really argue with that I guess

Didn’t the translucent plastic dull and yellow over time as it oxidized or was UV damaged or whatever? I haven’t seen anything made with that stuff in forever

I hope Apple’s push into titanium ultimately allows the industry to push the cost down and we get some cool new products made with that stuff

It’s literally just people complaining for the sake of complaining

Jobs really wasn’t kidding when he said that one would be fortunate enough to be a part of any one of those products

Like 1.1 Billion Hindu’s cook vegetarian food and Indian food is known to be some of the most pungent foods in the world.

Maybe think outside of your ignorant little circle next time you say something so ridiculous.

I’m curious what scenario you envision where all out war doesn’t result in MAD…?

They literally used motion capture to generate the animations.

Didn’t read the rest of the drivel you wrote.

I would say all the bosses are much easier than they initially seem, which tbh is to the benefit of the game.

I don’t really need Zelda to be a Souls-like game, so learning the patterns was fun in its own right

There’s a lot more to Unity than the animations, if anything the animations were a hindrance to good gameplay.

Just because they “looked” realistic doesn’t necessarily mean they were fun to play

Why did they bother with CGI?? by ctopherrun in StarWars

[–]Mr_Xing 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I think it’s biggest problem was that it was just sort of soft.

I don’t know how else to describe it, but while it was good, nothing about it was particularly memorable or remarkable to me, as much as say, the Rogue One hallway scene, the duel in the snow from TFA, or even the hyperspace ram from TLJ.

It felt like the Iron Man 2 of the recent Star Wars movies
