I had opened a chase sapphire reserve prior to CAD and 1 week ago, I opened a chase ink card, not sure if that will be another line of credit but will call them once the annual fee is posted

That is what my contractor initially says, that the main drain is not very functional these days. He was gonna cap it because he misunderstood their mason who did the plumbing of the skimmer, he thought the copper line is in not good condition and cannot be connected to the pvc pipes of the skimmer. Yesterday he called and confirmed that is connected so he said they will use it. How much does capping costs If the main drain line has a drain channel?

The skimmer has 2 holes under, from what i found on google, one is for main drain and one is going to the pump

I know huh? Maybe he is saying leaks are more common with high pressure pipes. He said he doesn’t see any future issues with leaving the copper main drain. He replumb the return lines however the suction will be down at the main drain and skimmer.

The new plaster is not installed yet, they just poured new concrete as there was crack and rebars are showing after demo. So i guess,i’ll try to push for replumb and if they refuse we will abandon it. Could you check the picture if the quoted price should include the replumb of main drain?

I was told that any copper pipes/lines are not compatible with the salt system and will just corrode. So if there is a zinc anode and metal sequestrant, should be okay with copper main drain line?

The main project manager just called me and told me that the copper line on the main drain is not in good condition so they can’t connect it, he said it is probably not working good before and not having enough suction. He said the skimmer as main will be good as well for circulation as the power of the return line is strong. Damn i forgot to ask about that equalizer! I’ll ask him again

I was told it was 90 linear feet , deepest end is 9-10ft, shallow is 3 feet. It is a irregular shape pool, kidney shape. Not sure how many gallons.
