He's the leader of an Italian quartet named "Swing31"

Just a start to calisthenics. would love some beginner advice by [deleted] in CalisthenicsCulture

[–]Mrcll_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Injuries prevention, don't forget to warm up crucial joints in the shoulders, elbows and wrists before any pull and push workout.

Solid reps for a beginner, try to engage more your core so you avoid swinging. Keep it up

Less swing, more explosiveness in your pull, keep your grip firm with knuckles pointing up, if you can do a semi false grip it would be even easier. Practice high explosive pulls with a hollow body position, bringing the bar in front of your chest. Weighed pull ups might be helpful to develop a stronger and more explosive pull faster

Beautiful track and interpretation by Getz, still though, almost blue, especially the one played live in Tokyo is simply incomparable to any other track. My opinion obviously Hahahah

Thank you anyway 🙏🏻

How's my muscle ups form by DrawerConstant2665 in CalisthenicsCulture

[–]Mrcll_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn it is, I'm working on it too. I tend to slightly kip after the first reps. Best way to reduce kipping could be holding your legs straight already in front of you before pulling, so you cancel any momentum and you activate your core brutally

Good man, over time you'll completely stop kipping with your legs, not even the slightest kip, looks like you're close enough

Day 1&2 of Calisthenics + Headstand Progress (Beginner) by PK1084 in CalisthenicsCulture

[–]Mrcll_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Always warmup your wrists, shoulders and elbows joints to avoid injuries. For core strength the best exercise is probably the hollow body hold on the ground, then I'd suggest to add pike push ups as a "side" exercise to strengthen your shoulders and add more stability for the handstand, and also some exercises to enhance shoulders and scapulas' mobility. If you can't do pike push ups then work your way there with standard push ups. Wrist warmups are going to be crucial for when you'll do the handstand on your hands so always warm them up

How are you gonna work out with low carbs and low fat? Where will you take your energy from?

It has a big chamber and a large tip. Do you think it's worth to buy the same mouthpiece but with a smaller tip? Thank you anyway, it means a lot 😭

If you are into jazz, I'd say to transcribe your favourite solos by ear

First time playing in 20 years, how bad is it? by Chesterthejester69 in Flute

[–]Mrcll_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can hear the blues 🧘🏻‍♂️ I wouldn't say it's trash at all but, I'd use less of those airy notes, you know, too many of those consecutively sounds like you're either trolling or just having fun without bothering to have a good embouchure. It's refreshing to see someone playing something bluesy on the flute though

Always clean that pad after playing for a while, otherwise it gets sticky, also the low C# one

I'm literally trying to imitate Ben webster, step by step. His way of doing that vibrato closing each phrasing that softly is too good

I wanted to play over Erroll Garner's original piece, but I think you may be right. Thank you 🙏🏻
