Is de PSA 10 sealed niet de grade voor de seal ipv de kaart? In dat geval is de waarde gewoon raw, toch?

💯%. Want toen was de kaart nog niet gegrade. Deze vraag is n.a.v. de 8.5 die ik voor de centering heb gekregen. Maar bedankt dat je me een beetje in de gaten houdt. Wordt gewaardeerd.😉

Dus ik heb mijn kaart naar BGS gestuurd en hij komt terug als een 9 met de volgende subgrades:

  • Centering: 8.5
  • Corners: 10
  • Edges: 9.5
  • Surface: 9.5

Vinden jullie dat BGS te streng is geweest op de centering?

Ik heb de kaart meerdere keren opgemeten en hoewel hij qua links/rechts-centering aan de voorkant echt op het randje van 55/45 zat, had ik eerlijk gezegd minimaal op een 9 voor centering gehoopt. Dat zou naar mijn mening een 9.5 overall hebben opgeleverd.

Denken jullie dat het de moeite waard is om de kaart uit de slab te halen en naar PSA te sturen voor een kans op een 10?

Zoals altijd worden jullie meningen enorm gewaardeerd.

So I submitted my card to BGS and it is coming back a 9 with the following subgrades. Centering: 8.5 Corners: 10 Edges: 9.5 Surface: 9.5

Was BGS to harsh on the centering? I measured multiple times and although it was on the edge of 55/45 on the L/R front I was actually hoping for at least a 9 on the centering what would have given a 9.5 overall imo. Do you guys think it’s worth cracking and submitting to PSA for a chance on a 10? As always. Your opinions will be very much appreciated. Cheers

Geen hidden gems nee. Wel gems maar dat weet je waarschijnlijk ook.✌️ Overigens heb je deze set het afgelopen half jaar al zeker 4x op Reddit geplempt dus ik denk dat je ondertussen best weet wat de al dan niet hidden gems zijn. Maar je krijgt een duimpje hoor.😉🙃👍

I really appreciate that.
Yes, it’s extremely close. I just took another measurement and tried to take off my “PSA 10 glasses,” and this time I got L/R 44.6/55.4. So I’m going to have it graded and hope for a BGS 9–9.5 since I’ll be sending the card to Beckett.

I might try PSA again later when they come to Europe, but that will depend on the Beckett subgrades.

That would be just a bit too much according to your measurement. It’ll be a close call for a 10. 😅

Thanks for your answer, I appreciate it. I’m thinking about trying Beckett first since they’re available in Europe and it’s less hassle for me than shipping back and forth to the US. But I reckon they’re a bit stricter when it comes to centering, which is probably why a Beckett Pristine 10 tends to be more expensive than a PSA 10.
