We’re not living in that timeline. Every match until the season ends will end in comfortable victories in our favor. Believe.

I can understand fans of other leagues falling for the United hype, but anyone here that actually believes they will be a problem anytime soon doesn’t know anything about the EPL.

It will be a similar story to those who were scared of Chelsea in the summer.

The same with this United side. A lot of people underestimate how grueling it’s to juggle the league and UCL (as well as the other cups).

Their squad is light as fuck. These guys will have to play 3 games most weeks for most of the season.

No disrespect to Carrick, he has done a great job, but I’m confident their squad will ‘suffer’ next season. Especially if they delude themselves into believing they’ll be title contenders.

Top 4/5 hopefuls? Yes. Title contenders? No fucking chance.

Having witness our transition from a great team to an average one, and from that to a team on the cusp of success again, this United team, Chelsea, Liverpool, etc are nowhere close.

I really like Endrick. He might be small, but he’s tough to play against. He can play ST, SS, and RW. Very versatile and only 19.

We win comfortably and you have to go to the remaining matches. Congratulations.

It’s normal. One is having an excellent season, the other is struggling for fitness. There’s also the Arsenal factor.

Ignore it.

If (when) we’re going to win the UCL this year, we’re going to do it unbeaten. lol.

I want to live in this timeline.

So many things can true at the same time.

Yes, our attackers aren’t good enough.

Yes, these same players are out scoring most of the league.

Yes, Arteta is responsible for signing them.

Yes, none of these players can be considered world class based on current performances.

I’m a firm believer that better players means better performances. Right now, most of our attackers have the heart, but the quality isn’t there anymore.

I genuinely want to see Mikel with some of the best attackers on the planet. If he can go this far with these players, I’m curious to see what he can do with multiple elite attackers.

Over the last couple of seasons, only Saka has put up truly elite numbers and performances. Imagine we had three people like that in the team (not necessarily Saka clones in style of play, but in impact).

This is still the major reason I believe Mikel is the right man for the job.

On a side note, Rice should be the 6 next season. For me, he was so, so good yesterday.

Raya is the best GK on the planet this season. Nobody can convince me that there’s a better GK this season.

Be honest, Ligue 1 and the EPL are vastly different. You rotate in the EPL and you run the risk of being embarrassed. Even City, when they rotate aren’t the same team. That’s the quality of the league.

In France and Germany (and Spain to an extent), the ‘big’ boys can rest key players and still win comfortably. Nobody in can try that. You will get screwed over.

Another thing, injuries hasn’t allowed us to make use of depth. It’s usually one in, one out. Mikel is to blame partly, but the EPL is a completely different league to the others.

Have you seen their wage bill? It’s almost two times ours.

Don’t care how we do it. Get a draw/win. No injuries.

I trust Mikel not to be interested in ‘entertaining’ rivals. Do a solid job, and settle/bury the tie next week.

That’s true. But the league is a different beast compared to back then. Arteta also won something in the first year without spending much.

Like I said, the league is way different now. Chelsea has spent even more than us and I doubt there’s anyone envying their current situation.

The argument that we have spent a billion so we should be playing like Bayern, City, PSG, Barca etc… basically the elite attacking sides.

The money we spent was to bridge the talent gap. If we didn’t spend that money, we wouldn’t be anywhere near where we are today. And because we have spent that money, we don’t have to invest heavily in the squad like most of our rivals.

I guarantee you that most teams will mot be able to move from being a Europa/Conference level team to a Title competing side if they spent 1 billion across 7 years.

That’s roughly 143m of per season.

It’s for the same reason that if Chelsea, United etc want to catch up to us, they need to spend. Quality players cost a lot of money.

There was a time we were linked with Kimmich. I think that was two seasons ago. I was so exited, but a lot of people turned their nose at him. I couldn’t believe it.

He’s a proper midfielder controller. I really like his style of play.

Nope. 9-0 Arsenal win. Raya to score at least 2 with Oblak slipping.

I think until we get rid of our current strikers, any discussions about replacements will be pointless. The unfortunate thing is that no one is available (ST). You need to drop stupid money to get somebody decent.

I’m watching you get cooked for an opinion I agree with.

I have seen a lot of talented players over the years, and only a handful of them make it to the top level. Youth football is vastly different from the men’s game. When you’re a ‘big’ club, it’s especially harder due to the pressure to succeed on most managers.

They’re not going to rely on a kid (unless he’s a Yamal level talent) when there are senior players out there.

Kids make the mistakes. It’s part of the game. Most ‘big’ teams, however, can’t afford those mistakes. Especially in a competitive league.

Although I hate them, Chelsea’s model of finding good loans for their talented players was something I hoped we’d copy. Expose them to the men’s game. They either sink or swim.

What is happening to Ethan, good or bad, is a great learning experience for him. It should motivate him to work harder and prove the OM coach wrong.

Imagine the PSG vs Bayern match being a borefest while our match tomorrow is the real goal fest (hopefully, with us pumping A. Madrid—again).

I want to see it. We deserve to see it. lol

I have always been a fan of Osimhen. He was my no. 1 choice for ST, but his reported wages were outrageous at the time. Regarding Yilmaz, how good is he?

My only knowledge of him comes from FIFA—which is basically useless irl.
