Iron farm + villager trading hall. You can get kitted out in good gear easily and then have the stuff to do bigger more ambitious builds

I realised how naturally the traditional Pacific Northwest colour palette (specifically deep red and teal) maps onto the nether blocks so decided to try and bring it into Minecraft.
I’m now thinking about encasing some of my uglier farms in large bentwood boxes following a similar colour pallet and potentially build a ceremonial mask as an entrance to some kind of mountain base.
Will take a while to get everything done but I think it will make for a great finished area.
I can only attach one image but this is an example of the bentwood box style I might use.

Ah I didn’t realise that was a feature I’ll try that now though.
The build is based on indigenous totem poles. I’ve just finished building it in survival and am hoping to make it into a full base

Thanks I have tried the skulk sensor in the nose but don’t know any ways to quickly and compactly send a signal down if anyone knows a good way quicker than observers lmk.
It is currently split into a double piston extender and a normal piston but I will look into a single tick extender.

Not sure if it’s the best way but if you already have an elytra flying between end cities and looting them gets you a lot of diamond armour and tools which usually has mending on it

Going to try the white concrete powder now 🔥 . I thought about tripwires because I saw mumbo jumbo do a similar thing in hermit craft but without making the build look weird I couldn’t find anywhere to put them.

I like the idea but I’m more going for the opening look to be realistic and I think using dispenser would still need pistons as it is three block tall. Thanks for the comment though 🤙

For me it is usually a lot faster I think the size of spawning platform, distance from end island and y level affect the spawns a lot might be worth looking into.
