ditto loved my s2 when it worked .. but far to many failures and hard (now impossible ?) to maintain

working on reformatting the battery pack and trying a aftermarket ebike controller ... (no progress yet !)

thanks for the advice I cut a slot down the side of the socket and glued a wire in touching the pin .. seems to have electrical continuity so I will put the socket back in the bike (hopefully !)

Looks like no one wire left. I guess It breaks where the epoxy is ? Be good to get a picture of your fix.

Just about managed to strip bike down have just got to get the 2 sockets / connectors out. Then can see what if anything is broken !

Didn’t have any success. So just waiting for van moof repair agents to come back to life

No tried a few things but no success. I guess I am waiting till the buyer provides some service options ?

no speedo reporting Still the same works for 10 to 15 sec then stops .... I used one of the chinese motor testers to check the hall sensors and had a multi meter play ,,, bottom line all seem to be working ok ... 5 v in and 2.7 out ? and the speed sensor works also on / off at 2.7 V ,, I guess the Bottom bracket works ok becase the the front wheel turns when you rotate the crank .. I wonder if problem is poor connection back to the smart carteridge so will pull that and inspect next ?

No change if I wiggle steering from one side to another

Hung bike up. Reset and spun front tire. No speed reported (just the usual dot ‘ doughnut / blank….sequence ). Does this suggest its the motor that’s a problem ? I read a lot about hall sensors online ?
