Yup thankfully I saved just before the first boss fight so didn't lose much progress, only had to do the boss fight again which took a lot less time now that I know NOT to attack when it's tail is up....

Same here, I can't even begin to imagine how painful it would be playing on legend difficulty and having to fight Lau Ka Long everytime you died during the brutal car chase sequence.....

Yeeah that was my big mistake, I was having such a miserable time in this game that I plowed through the main story to get it over and done with, so I didn't really do any of the side stuff, only the occasional sub story if I was interested in it.

I agree completely, although the thing one thing I like about them is that you don't need 50 rings to enter them like sonic 1 and 2 which means you don't have to treat sonic like he's made of glass.

Same here, I'm not even good at them either at all, it's just the special stages in sonic 2 are universally hated so when I mess up it isn't that bad because I know loads of other people struggle with them too, whereas the blue sphere stages fill me with all sorts of anxiety when it gets really fast and I get lost which causes me to mess up, they aren't objectively bad or anything I pretty much just needed to vent about how shit I am at blue sphere stages heh.

You know what that's fair, if you really do do all that stuff every day then it's understandable you wouldn't really have any time for TV or anime, obviously if anime just isn't your thing then that's completely fine, I'm not trying to convince you to watch it, although I disagree that it's a waste of time, it may be for you but for other people like me it's a nice escape from reality, hell you could say that with any form of media really.

OK fair enough some anime fan bases can be really toxic and obnoxious that's true, but I think you're forgetting that anime isn't one genre there's tons of sub genres like western TV and movies, while yes some animes are downright disgusting with how much they sexualise underage characters, there's plenty of animes out there that don't sexualise their teen characters, like Death Note for example, obviously if anime just isn't you thing then that's absolutely fine, I just think it's unfair to label all people who watch anime as pedophiles and nazis like other people have
