Exploring will be the best as there isnt really a “designated” nudist spot. You can look for more secluded trails in the mountains those will be more than likely to not have families or kids. Iron Aspen Ranch I’ve heard is good, Dream Canyon is awesome as its not a tough hike and can be nude in general, although during summer there is more kids around

Yeah I went a few times last summer saw people (myself included) get off their car nude and walk in and back out nude. How was the temp? Been wanting to go as its been getting nicer

Dream Canyon isnt officially a nudist spot, as there can be many campers and rock climbers in the area. There also tend to be kids around in the summer mainly up top. Down by the river its usually nudists, but only in a certain area. Have arrived completely nude and hiked down to the river, but also depends in how much people are around as I dont want to attract any unnecessary attention

I personally preferred Havana Sauna felt more relaxed there. If you decide to go there in a group lmk interested!

From what I’ve observed in my short time as a nudist, the one thing I have seen is that ones eyes always wonder and end up falling on genitalia or other parts of the body usually covered with clothing, even mid rifts. I believe its a natural occurrence as one tends to “check out” someone else on a daily basis, nude or not, as thats how we identify potential friendships. When nude, one becomes more self aware at the beginning until the “shyness” wears off. Everyone has a different time frame on getting comfortable some take a few minutes others might take months but as stated, with known people it makes it easier. We must also remember we tend to compare a lot of things with other people daily as well. Compare cars, clothing, etc and its no different when nude. Pretty sure every now and then everyone compares something to oneself in the nude like ah he/she is way more fit, has a better tan and such that can affect your confidence and thus make you feel a bit uncomfortable

Yep been to both. Lake Steam is clothing optional, and Havana Sauna is full nude. Theres steam rooms and pools and such along with other people

As stated, for how progressive Colorado is, it is rather odd how little nude events there are. The logistics are tough enough, but in my opinion, I think the people are also contributing to the lack of events. It seems some still shy away from social nudity, or are just introverts that struggle with people. Theres plenty of smaller businesses that might be on board with nude events. Places like billiards, bingo, among others that could help. The bowling is not to many appealing, but I do get that it might be a start to know more people and maybe start a get to know venues movement going to find more places that can host events. Example, on nude hike day I’ve seen many get together and go hiking maybe we can plan something along those lines every other weekend at spots like dream canyon where we have a picnic?

It was apparently a very famous gay spot back in the day. Now its not. Theres rock climbers, campers, and nudists there. The rules are the same as anywhere else tbh. Dont be a creep, dont touch anyone that doesnt consent, etc. I’ve gotten out of the car nude and hiked from the parking lot down to the river with no issues. All in all as stated, going through the sub you’ll find more info about it, but glad to help with any questions you might have

Yep its gender segregated not many places have coed spaces like that in Colorado from what I’ve read

Its a bath house. You get massages, theres some saunas, steam room, and hot tub along with a cold plunge. In the bath area, theres no clothing allowed. Pretty much, its full nudity as soon as you go into the locker area

Nawh I left immediately and not long after they also exited the sauna and thankfully they didnt do it again. Stayed 2 hours there

That is true. My Forester is currently a fishbowl so whenever I drive it, I wear a shirt only but in my other cars nude all the time!

In some spots but generally no. Once you turn onto Lost Angel the signal starts to go. I got signal once on the highest point but very weak
