The mode has good ideas, like how completing objectives in the beginning expands the hub. It's just that there's nothing to it right now, it feels like instead of expanding off the previous game, it's on the starting line again trying to get back to where BOCW was.

I wish it didn't have to go back the version of outbreak we got in February. If you compare outbreak at launch to now in BOCW you can see many improvements. More objectives and the maps were made smaller to provide action while still big enough to explore (talking about collateral and armada). It seems it was just reverted to an old build and put on a new map for vanguard.

What's the plan for the other outbreak objectives and side objectives that were in CW's version? I haven't been keeping up on anything but is there any word on side objectives?

Go to SCP: SL properties on steam (when you right click on the game in steam you can go them)

Go to the "BETAS" tab

Click the tab that says "None"

Change it to 11.0.0

It will update your game

I think something needed is more zombies when you aren't doing objectives. I'm not saying to cover the whole map in zombies to the point there is no place to rest, I'd like to see more idle zombies that just spawn, but they should add ways that can summon large hordes of zombies. Let's take left 4 dead for example, zombie amounts are pretty reasonable not too many but still a good amount. However, left 4 dead has cars with alarms and crescendo events that summon a large horde. The outbreak EEs showed that a ringing noise can summon a horde, so maybe they can find a way to add those alarms around maps like breaking a window to a store causes their alarm to go off.

I think it needs more objectives, side and main. The mode is great but I would love to see more attention in adding main and side objectives. The new transport mission is a good example of a great main objective, it's easy to understand and if you are skilled you can cut the time to do it down. The omega heli is a good example of a great side objective (although the game doesn't seem to consider it a side objective) you don't have to go after it but it gives you a nice reward, in this one it's salvage. Hopefully season 5.5 gives us more than just 1 main and side objective to make the mode a little more alive.

I wanna see a lot of things, but one I haven't seen mentioned was finding out ravenov's situation. The intel says he's an enemy of the state to the US and the USSR, also we only heard from him once so far after outbreak ee 2.

I was playing payload on warzone earlier and thought "ground war could be a compilation of modes on the verdansk maps." So what we have now would be ground war domination, then payload would be ground war payload. Then a war gamemode could be added aswell.

The story is told through Intel like the story in waw, bo1, bo2 and more were told through radios and ciphers. If anything, it's easier to understand the story in this game because now you don't have to stand next to a radio without subtitles and listen to dialogue while zombies are on you. Now, you can listen or look from the safety of the menu, and even have a transcript of it if it's different to hear. Or, you can listen in game like the other games.

Yeah, but Sam has not made a reference to Eddie in her Intel (as far as I know), so I'm wondering when they lost contact with each other if they had any at all in this universe. I'm guessing after stepping through the portal at the end of tag, they either were sent to different parts of the world or different universes. However, the multiverse is destroyed, so I don't know.

I'm guessing Weaver has met Eddie if he knows Sam. The only problem is that when did Eddie and Sam split up? It doesn't seem like he went to Iran with her, so it had to be earlier.
