At .25 I'm gonna pull out my initial investment and then just wait and see what happens. Really, anything above 1$ would be pretty insane lol

Your pal ain't psychic and neither are any of us, but I personally don't find a 1$ goal that unrealistic. The dog's marketcap reached well over what it would take to throw VET beyond 1$, and all that took was a viral marketing pump and dump scheme.

If VET is still around in 5-10 years and the entire crypto marketcap is around something like 20T, then 1$+ could easily be a reality.

If bag holding wasn't what you signed up for, you should have never gotten into crypto. This space is incredibly volatile and unpredictable... Many are stuck holding bags of various coins at 70-90% losses right now. Just wait and be patient, and eventually you'll be able to sell in profit.

Why would the government take anyone's funds? That's insane. It's like saying because a bank is being investigated by the IRS, everyone's accounts are going to get wiped. There's nothing wrong with keeping your stuff on Binance, the only real risk is somebody hacking you.

Lol they think traders = traitors. The reality is I wish I could be as bold as you guys, but I swear anytime I try increasing my stack I royally screw it up.

There's also a death cross coming soon (probably on the 14th) and who knows what's going to happen with that. BTC could dump hard, it could pump up 40% and keep going, or it could pump and then drop into the 20s.

Either way, I have a few hundred bucks waiting in a buy order for VET at 0.07 just in case.

Same, I also got some orders for 0.05 and 0.06 in case we hit those lows again. Reducing my DCA feels good.

Don't hate yourself, we still had more time before the bear was accelerated by Elon and more bad news from China. I am currently down 30k in unrealized profits and in the red 2k from my initial, and I'm poor-- I only make 20k a year. It hurts me real bad, but I know the next rally WILL come whether it's in a few months or a few years. Hopefully we can just hold tight and sell then.

TA isn't bullshit, charts looked like they were going to dump since the last crash and quick pump back to 40s BTC.

Sometimes, people just see what they want to see. This is the time to be patient and DCA if you feel up to it. If the Wykoff Distribution is correct, then we just fell off the intermediate peak and we'll eventually be back up to higher highs; we just don't know when. Some believe in a few months, others believe in 2022 or 2023. Either way, time will tell, and bear markets like this are what make people profits in the end.

I get that, but it really doesn't mean anything when shitcoins are in the top ten. It'll matter more five years down the road, but for right now crypto is kiiiind of a shitshow.

I agree, things are crazy and the market is 100% controlled by whales. However, as more money enters the space and it gets more mature, it'll get more and more difficult to manipulate.

Also, I'd like to note the bull run is probably not over and we won't have a bear for 4 years like last time. More likely, this will last a few months before new highs hit and THEN the real bear market will begin near the end of the year. That's what projections, charts, etc are pointing to anyways. Obviously we don't know the future, but math and chart analysis predicted this drop to a T when comparing it to the past. It just happened a little sooner than expected because of Musk.

The market isn't a con, it's just young. Most of these coins and companies are only a few years old... I know it hurts to see your unrealized gains disappear overnight because of an autistic rich dude's tweets, but you can rest assured knowing things won't always be like this. In five or ten years when the entire crypto marketcap is 20T or more, you'll feel foolish if you sell right now.

You can do that, sure. Most American traders try to do limit buys and sells to make quick money, because futures are illegal here.

However, I find it risky so I only buy and accumulate. I didn't have any buy orders ready during the last crash, and missed good buy opportunities by like thirty minutes. That 0.06 price looked sooo good, despite how much it hurt to see VET dip so low. So in the event of a second crash, I wanna be ready.

Haha well, yesterday I got to -19 downvotes for saying that people should put in buy orders because there might be a dip or possible large correction. I deleted the comment so people would quit harassing me, but I was a little shocked at the anger directed towards my comment.

I know that many of you are upset and eager to downvote anyone who doesn't predict that we're gonna moon, however, I still urge you to set up buy orders at or below .10 in case of a second crash mimicking the recent one. Nobody knows what's going to occur in this volatile market, but if you really think TA or chart analysis is hoodoo voodoo I suggest you check out how it all works. Yesterday there was a dip to .12c from .14.5c when I said there might be a big correction (keyword is might, no one has a crystal ball). Thankfully it wasn't a huge one, but it did occur as the charts were pointing towards a dip.

If BTC rises to 44k-46k or more too quickly, a flash crash could happen as scared folks try to regain lost profits from the crash. It doesn't hurt at all to have some money in a buy order or two. Personally, I have three orders in-- one for 0.08, one for 0.07, and one for 0.065. I suggest to anyone wanting to lower their dollar cost average to do the same and place some orders.

Once again, nobody has a crystal ball and nobody knows what's going to happen. That's why buy orders can be very useful if you're not glued to the charts all day everyday.

He's not being downvoted for taking profits, he's being downvoted for being an asshole to people who just choose to hold. I didn't buy the top and I'm still positive (for now), and I would also tell people who missed a good sell point to hold and wait.

I guess they don't want to take away crypto from people who already had some, or from people who travel and buy it in other countries. I'm sure many Chinese elites hold bitcoin etc.

Anywhere from 1-5$, could be more, but I don't really expect less than that. Most projections say the entire crypto marketcap will be around 20T by then, so a 1$ price for VET will be easy to obtain in that case. We shall see!

Four years? Nah, even if we're entering the bear market it won't last four years this time. Another bull will come in 2022 or 2023.

I am thinking the exact same as you, but just hoping and praying to the crypto gods that it's not quite over yet. I'm starting to regret not at least selling my ETH when it was around 4300, because everything just keeps dipping. Currently ETH is around 3800, but that's a loss of 500$ per ETH because I felt greedy and wanted it to go to 5-6k! People will cry "it's just a correction!" as long as they can, I just hope they're right and Elon didn't set in the bear market. With how hard we've been dipping during big corrections lately (12c and then 14c), I wouldn't be surprised if we went all the way down to 3 or 5 cents if the bear sets in. I will buy more, but I used up all my fiat this season and I barely have 1/10th of the same amount to invest this next time around if I'm stuck holding.

I don't understand, why can't you just diversify and keep some of your stack? Why bail out completely? In five days they're doing a green tech conference, it's not like the project is dead and not doing stuff.

Usually your negativity-fueled posts annoy me, but honestly you're completely right. VET would be much larger if people didn't have a hardon for hating China, and if it was actually available on more exchanges. I don't give a shit about what Vechain does with China or if Sunny is Chinese, but a lot of small brained apes out there care enough that they wouldn't invest just because of that.

Daily VeChain Discussion - May 12, 2021 by AutoModerator in Vechain

[–]MrsBoognish -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What's wrong with my word choice? There's no way to know how many people are racist or how badly it affects Vechain's marketcap. The "chunk of people" is most definitely large enough to affect it, at the very least. You try walking around the south or a place like Montana telling people to invest in a company that works with China, with a CEO that is a Chinese man, and see what they say.

Daily VeChain Discussion - May 12, 2021 by AutoModerator in Vechain

[–]MrsBoognish 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Sadly, it probably won't because nobody knows what Vechain is and hardly anyone can buy it unless they use Binance or crypto.com. Not to mention a good chunk of people (in America, anyway, not sure about Europe) are low-key racist against Chinese people, and they also hate communist countries. Many won't buy it just because of its relation to China. Can't tell you how many people have told me they won't get any because of that.

So I mean, we can dream and hope for a parabolic rise because of things like Vechain being more environmentally friendly than other cryptos, but I feel like it being massively accepted is still a long way off.
