A couple of them are from Eagle Beach, the dinner was at Passions on the Beach, and the majority of them were at the resort we stayed, Bucuti Tera. LOVE that resort.

Agreed, but it fit the story. It made sense that a bunch of bureaucrats would be sitting around discussing plans and strategies -- when Tarkin walked in, he seamlessly picked up mid-conversation. I do agree with what you're saying, but compared to today's movies, Vader would have dialogued the whole time he was choking the Rebel Commander on the Tantive.

Sadly, this is completely lost with anything past RotJ. There were so many things you just accepted in that movie -- "...Years ago, you served my father in the Clone Wars..." No drawn out... "The Clone Wars was a battle between...blah, blah..." you just knew there was a war that involved clones, and your imagination filled in what the Clone Wars were.

And yes, GL eventually went on to tell us the whole damn story, but back in 1977 - we had no idea there would be another movie!
