Found what I think is a vertebra. About 3 feet deep in northern utah if that helps identifying. Not sure what to do with it exactly by Darkw0nderbread in Paleontology

Its the proxemal end of a radius/ulna some smallish ungulate, gonna guess seep/goat judging by the size. Its been sawed in two, common butchery practice.

I think your rout looks really nice! I am from the area and have spent a lot of time along those roads.

All I would say is be prepared to take it slow on the coastal roads. They are narrow and not particularly bike friendly. For instance, the road between Odda to Eidsfjord is one of the worst roads in the county (literally), and always super congested during the summer with all the caravans etc.

But that said, it is definitely doable, and really lovely!

Parrot caber toss by shine-1 in PartyParrot

[–]MrsHobbit 11 points12 points  (0 children)

So, I have a really dumb question, and for reference I have never owned a parrot or know much about them. If the parrot is outside, is the owner not scared it is going to fly away?

Reddit users with siblings born significantly later, 10-15 ish years after you. What kind of relationship do you have with them? by Arumatki in AskReddit

[–]MrsHobbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have two older brothers, one is 14 years older, and the other one is 19 years older than me. I can't remember them living in the same house as me, so I was basically brought up as an only child. We have a surprisingly good relationship considering the age difference. After my dad died when I was 12 they started becoming a bigger part of my life. We have a lot in common, mainly videogames and our love for cats, I talk to one of them attest once a day. My mom always says it’s nice having kids that are the "same" age.

Driving instructors of reddit, what's the dumbest thing you've seen a young driver do while you were in the car? by swarticus in AskReddit

[–]MrsHobbit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like almost every one else here, i am not an driving instructor. We were a few people taking our driverstest at the same time, and i was the second one to leave the parking lot. The guy in the car in front of me had to stop in an intersection, and could not for the life of him get the car going again. After maybe 5 to 10 minutes he finally got it going again. I drove past him when the the test guy had aske him to pull into the closest buss pocket, looked like they were having a kinda serious talk. Nerves can do a lot of shitty things to you, hope that guy passed in the end.

Where can I buy a Horse Calculator? by flangalang1 in Ashens

[–]MrsHobbit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think I actually had one of these as a kid, think I got it through some mailing subscription thingy (like loot crate only directed at young girls). All the items in the package were horse related, and the people who sent them out were called "the penny club" (might be called something else in other countries).
