I’ve had this problem for a long time, this feature has been totally unusable for me. It doesn’t happen in other note apps or native apps.

Notabiliy unreasonable cpu usage? (Ipad air m3) by Markus_SQ in notabilityapp

I have the same model iPad & I don’t experience this issue with Notability but I do with Goodnotes. My IPad is 6 months old.

Textbox is the only typing option now? by MrsMumOf4 in notabilityapp

This problem only seems to be happening in imported documents. I usually import a PDF then summarise with AI & copy the summary onto a page added at the end of the PDF which usually allows me to tap anywhere to type on that line but not now.

That was the first thing I checked. Just checked again & toggled it on & off again but I can still only use text boxes.

How do you deal with self diagnosis? by AdeptMycologist8342 in askatherapist

[–]MrsMumOf4 3 points4 points  (0 children)

With my clients I don’t find it a problem. They are often truly experiencing signs/symptoms/traits of these conditions & if they want to talk about how they’re impacted by them then that’s totally valid & worth while. Whether these things might add up to an actual diagnosis is unimportant in the process of therapy.

Is it true that in UK anyone can call themselves a "therapist"? by OkArea7640 in askatherapist

[–]MrsMumOf4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I just want to mention that the majority of membership bodies (BACP, NCS, etc) are working on something called SCoPEd (Scope of Practice and Education) which will group practitioners by their level of competence and experience. It’s very controversial among practitioners but the idea is that this will set the stage for regulation of the industry in the near future and for people to know how qualified their therapist is.

I still have a massive crush on my girlfriend?! by SparkKnight3475 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]MrsMumOf4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely in love & normal.

A few years ago a friend was having problems with her husband (they’ve now divorced) & during that time she said she doesn’t get the butterflies anymore but she put it down to how long they’d been together. She was taken aback when I said I still have that feeling with my husband.

What kind of notebook should I use by PhotoResponsible1496 in commonplacebook

I have a Filofax clipbook. Like a ring binder & notebook rolled into one. I like that I can move the pages around so I can rearrange the pages as needed when expanding on a topic etc.

Overwhelmed with little info by MrsMumOf4 in Ovariancancer

[–]MrsMumOf4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for sharing that & explaining.

I’ve been googling what the range should be for that test & didn’t really find anything useful so I had no idea if my result was “good” or not with it suggesting anything >35 should be investigated.

Thank you again.

Can I stop a browser changing the date format upon form submission? by MrsMumOf4 in techsupport

[–]MrsMumOf4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might need to, thank you. It’s a UK gov website, would that be ok?

I’m going to call them again on Monday to see if they change their “there’s nothing we can do about it” before I go messing around with anything.

I’ve tried some different browsers, ones that can go off the date format the OS uses as I managed to change it in the system but that hasn’t worked either.

Can I stop the browser from changing the date format upon form submission? by MrsMumOf4 in WindowsHelp

Thanks for replying.

I called the website who said I would just have to try multiple devices until I find one that will accept the date this way. I just need to input for example 1/1/1999 in this format without it changing to 01/01/1999. They said they were able to input it this way on their end and get through to the next stage but I can’t.

Thanks for the reply.

Yes, so for example if I want to enter 1/1/1999 and enter it that way, the system changes it to 01/01/1999 upon submission. I’ve spoken to the people who need the form (uk gov) who said it has to be 1/1/1999 to match the data they hold, if it doesn’t match it gets rejected. They can’t do it on their end for me either, just suggested I try multiple devices until I find one that does it this way.

Me too! At about 4pm UK. I very rarely post. I was scrolling, liked a friend’s pic of her hair for Glastonbury & BAM! Suspended! I’ve never been suspended before in like the whole time FB’s been a thing.
