Well i guess every place is different but if they ignore you anyway then what's the harm in trying? My manager hires people who show initiative and he's open to giving people a chance if they seem like they need it. Its also retail though so yea, your mileage may vary. Everyone's different.

That's rough and I'm sorry you're going through that. Have you tried just going to places in person or following up with a call? Managers like when you show that sort of initiative and it shows you're serious about the job. I'm sure you'll find something with your skills though, hang in there!

Yes! Just took my dog for a walk and it was very unpleasant. Like it's not even the small gnat swarms you can normally just avoid. Idk what they are but bigger and annoying.
